We’ve been keeping an eye on the MagicBand options available to Disney World Resort hotel guests.

And today we spotted some awesome new designs, including one that features one of our favorite discontinued Disney snacks — the Hei Hei Cone!
The MagicBand options for Disney World Resort guests can change based on availability. So, when @schreiberjoe reached out on Instagram to give us a heads up about some new designs, we couldn’t wait to check them out!
There were a few designs that have been added since we last checked our options — like this gorgeous Mickey Silver & Gold Rings MagicBand!

But of all the new designs we spotted, there was one that had an extra-special place in our heart — the Disney Parks Food MagicBand! It features some iconic snacks like the Dole Whip and Mickey Waffle. But what’s this?? Our beloved Hei Hei Cone?? Yup, we need this MagicBand!

These MagicBands are now available to choose for Disney World Resort guests with upcoming vacations. But remember, designs are subject to availability, so if you see one you like, be sure to snag it fast!

I would like to purchase these magic bands. How can I do that?
John, these are MagicBand upgrades offered to 2020 Resort guests, but they may become available on ShopDisney.
So if your a 2020 resort member how can I upgrade?
I was on earlier and grabbed that purple snack band for our upcoming stay. I missed out when they had the pink one and was super excited to see this one!
I thought magic bands are no longer being used? Are people just buying them “just because”?
Margaret, they’re still going to be used, they just aren’t going to be complimentary for Disney Resort guests. Folks can buy new ones or activate old ones in order to continue using them.
Phillip, I think if you log into My Disney Experience (online or on the app) and click MagicBands in My Plans, you will be able to see the options.
DFB, HELP! We’re trying to eat all the snacks on the purple band but we can’t figure out what the round one with frosting in the center is. Please make our vacay complete!

Can I have more than one magic band linked my personal account? Like, have a couple to wear during our stay?
Elizabeth, you usually can. I’ve heard that some folks have trouble with more than one activated MagicBand, in which case you can log into My Disney Experience and just activate/deactivate as needed. If you have an issue, there are typically Cast Members around who can help (i.e. when you are scanning into the Parks).
