As Disney Parks worldwide continue their phased reopenings, policies have been updated to reflect current guidance from health experts. Recently, we shared the news that Disney World updated their face mask policy, which now bans face masks with “valves, mesh material, or holes of any kind.”
In an unsurprising move, Disneyland also updated their face mask policy to reflect this change, effective immediately.
The updated policy, currently reflected on Disneyland’s website, includes new verbiage regarding masks that contain valves. It states: “At this time, neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas, and face coverings containing valves, mesh material, or holes of any kind are not acceptable face coverings.
Disneyland also requires guests to remain stationary while they eat or drink, another policy that has been implemented at Disney World.
Currently, Downtown Disney is the only part of the Disneyland Resort that has reopened. At this time, a reopening date for the two theme parks and Disneyland’s hotels has yet to be announced.

While I understand banning bandanas
And neck gaiters I dont understand the banning of mask with valves as these in addition to the valve have replaceable filters. Also when will the start enforcing the mask rules at Disney World. I was there last week and never saw any enforcement in any of the parks. Lots of people walking and drinking with mask off or wearing the mask below their nose.
