We’re heading to a galaxy far, far away!
We’re super excited about the new Star Wars hotel, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser that’s currently under construction outside of Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Once it’s completed, the hotel will offer guests an immersive Star Wars experience that takes theming to the next level!
We’ve spotted some progress on the construction from the roadways around Hollywood Studios. But since there’s a solid structure facing the road, we haven’t gotten much of a glimpse of what’s going on beyond that!
But now, we have a bird’s eye view of the progress on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser! An aerial photo shared by bioreconstruct shows an overview of the hotel, including a peek at where the cabins and decks of the ship will be located.

When the hotel opens, guests will be able to book a two-night stay that includes a full itinerary and excursion to Batuu — AKA, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
The hotel is currently slated to open in 2021, and of course, we’ll keep an eye out for any additional information regarding a specific opening date!

Really can’t wait for (a) this to open and (b) the world (including Disney World!) to be back to relative normal. I’ve got a gaggle of nerdy friends and we’d planned a few days at Disneyland in May primarily to spend time in Galaxy’s Edge. But, alas, that was not to be. So now we’ve decided to wait and experience all of this when it’s available. Toss in the Space 220 restaurant and it’s a total nerd out!
