Ah, the world where mouse rules apply!
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is still SUPER fresh in Disney World, and though this new attraction is super high demand, it seems like Disney might still be doing some work on the ride building. We spotted some new construction permits for the Chinese Theater in Hollywood Studios!Â
Both permits we noticed last month were filed by Walt Disney Imagineering. The first one is for a “support structure installation” with a stage design firm. We’re not sure if this is for the Runaway Railway attraction, but we DO know that it’s filed for the address of the Chinese Theater.
Then, we later saw a permit for “Package 1 work” at the same location, mentioning “Project M.” We haven’t seen any new construction in the area, but we’re DEFINITELY wondering what Disney is working on.
We’ll keep an eye out for any changes to the Chinese Theater in Hollywood Studios so stay tuned to DFB for updates!
