Thank goodness for social media, because that means we can check in on all of the NBA players to see what they’ve been up to at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Let’s recap what has been going on inside the NBA “bubble” at Disney World this week.
Life inside the “NBA Bubble”
Did you know there was an NBA Campus App? Orlando Magic’s Terrance Ross shared some of the features of the app, including how to order food, request to attend a game, and more! We also spotted My Disney Experience on his phone!
There are also birthdays to celebrate in the NBA bubble! This past week, Los Angeles Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma celebrated his birthday along with his teammates, who threw a pizza party for him! A plane was also seen flying over the resort with a special birthday message.

Enjoying the rest of the Disney World Resort
The NBA players all seem to be taking full advantage of the many perks and amenities at their disposal! When they aren’t playing or practicing on the court, they can go fishing, bowling, or swing their clubs out on one of Disney World’s golf courses!

The players can enjoy bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Disney Springs after hours, and while some seem to be great at bowling, other players should DEFINITELY stick to professional basketball.

Frankly, who cares? All of these facilities have been shut down for the privileged few, all in the name of money. I moved a vacation that my family intended to take in early September, mostly because we did not want to be disappointed by what we couldn’t do and where we couldn’t go, simply because Disney turned it’s back on the ones who made them such a success, the everyday person looking to escape reality for a little while. Instead, they have turned much of this wonderful resort into a private playground for a bunch of millionaires. They should be ashamed of themselves and hope that this does not have a negative affect on tourists going to WDW.
