UPDATE 8-16-20: The Islands of the Caribbean Booth is closed again today. Based on reader reports and conversations with EPCOT Cast Members, including chefs at the Islands of the Caribbean Booth, it sounds like this booth will be open infrequently going forward — likely only on Saturdays. We’ll keep you updated!
The EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is still going strong during Disney World’s limited capacity reopening, but things aren’t necessarily business as usual!
We’ve got a hybrid festival this year! Because the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival was cut short by the park closures, and because so much of the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival couldn’t go forward as planned due to safety concerns, Disney decided to smoosh the two together to make one big hodge-podge festival!
We’ve got Flower and Garden festival food mingling with Food and Wine menu items in the marketplace booths around World Showcase, and you’ll find Flower and Garden as well as Food and Wine merchandise in the shopping locations. Several menu items have shown up to the party LATE. And we’ve got booths mysteriously closing and…reopening!
Yep, after reporting that the Islands of the Caribbean booth was 1) closed and 2) removed from the Disney World website, we got word yesterday from an instagram follower that the booth may be slated to reopen for weekends only!
Today, we were sent photos from our friend @walruscarpclothing — of the booth open and ready for business!
So if you’re headed to the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival today, you’ll likely be able to indulge in all the Caribbean booth has to offer — including jerk chicken, passion fruit cake, and ropa vieja empanadas!
But be aware that they may close again next week. We’ll bring you the latest as we have it!

Understand this booth as well as some others will only be open on weekends. Does that include Fridays or only Saturday/sunday? I have an upcoming trip and want to make sure I have reservations for right day. Friday would work better but I don’t want to miss Spain and some others.

Any update on the through date for the Festival? We can’t come until late Oct-early Nov and have no idea if it’ll even be going on by then.
DFB Sarah says
Michelle, no end date for the Food & Wine Festival has been announced. Typically, F&W goes through a week (or less) before the Festival of the Holidays (so maybe 11/20 or later). But we have no confirmation that this historical precedence will apply in 2020. We will update as soon as we know!
