BOO!! Err, I mean… HELLO from Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!!
THIS is where Halloween is in FULL SWING… and the gang’s ALL HERE — and in their festive best — to celebrate! We’re checking out what’s NEW in the park (with help from some of our best Disney pals!), and we hope you’ll join us along the way for even more festive fall fun!
Oh, and when we say “the gang’s all here…”
WE MEAN IT! Let’s head in…
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe
Though we didn’t mosey on into Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café (even though it was hard to pass up those orange and black Churros they’re serving up right now), we did mosey on BY it… and we noticed something a little different.
The entrance has been changed, and for now guests are entering the restaurant from the side (just across from Golden Oak Outpost).
The change was made to help in physical distancing efforts, to avoid crowding at the usual entrance and provide room for the Halloween Character Cavalcades, which have proved to be quite popular.
I’m sure you can see why!
The Character Cavalcades which made their debut upon the reopening of the theme parks are terrific treats all the time. But with special seasonal appearances by Disney Villains, characters from Nightmare Before Christmas, and our Disney pals in their Halloween costumes…
… well, they’re unusually spooktacular right now!
We’ve been having SO MUCH FUN spying even more Halloween Costumes for our Disney friends as the season continues…
See VIDEOS of the Halloween Character Cavalcades here!
Well, I’m sure you can understand why we get a little distracted 😉 . Anyhoo… back to one of our favorite eateries!
Sleepy Hollow Refreshments
Just a little note that over at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments, we learned that the uber-popular Madame Leota Sippers are STILL sold out!
We sure hope she’ll materialize again soon…
Awaken the spirits… and see the Madame Leota Sipper here!
Magic Kingdom Attraction and Construction Updates
Magic Kingdom Entrance
Work continues at the entrance to the park, where we’ve been keeping an eye on the area where the Grand Floridian Walkway just might connect Resort guests to the front of Magic Kingdom.
Peter Pan’s Flight
Back inside the park we’re heading over to Fantasyland with a stop at Peter Pan’s Flight.Â
This next photo gives you a pretty good look at the new plexiglass that has recently been added within the queue for the attraction.
These are intended to help maintain safe distancing between guests while they await their magical flight.
TRON Construction
Of course, it’s not a Magic Kingdom construction update without checking in on the construction for TRON!
With the huge structures being added at a quick pace…
… you may not notice that there’s something missing right about here.
That’s right… tracks for the Walt Disney World Railroad are currently missing as construction continues.
Though we always make it a point to stop by to show you the latest, don’t forget that you can also check out the goings-on with the TRON Lightcycle Run right here!

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe
Don’t get me wrong, we are LOVING the Halloween happenings around here. But we’re going to switch holiday gears a bit as we steer into Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square.
This is where we found more of the Sketchbook ornaments, this time featuring Fairytale Moments with our beloved Disney Princesses.
Each is $24.99, and we imagine you’ll spot your favorite in the collection!
There are still more to share…
Which one would you choose?
See even MORE of the Legacy Sketchbook Ornaments here!
No matter which one you’d select, I think we can agree that ALL of these Princesses definitely deserve a tribute!
And though there have been different versions of the vintage-style ceramic Disney Christmas Trees over the years, we found this version on our visit, which we believe is new this year!
This light-up tree featuring Disney characters and festive touches is $49.99.
Hi, Santa Mickey!!
For our final stop, let’s head back to Main Street, U.S.A. to the Emporium. And why don’t we bring some pals along, while we’re at it?
Let’s see… where were we? Oh, yeah! The Emporium! That’s where we found these new-to-us Castle Earrings as part of the Disney Parks Jewelry Collection.
These bright and bold earrings are $14.99.
And this retro-style Walt Disney World necklace is $19.99.
Aaaaand, that’s our visit for today! Let’s wave goodbye (just for now!), to Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Daisy…
And here’s one more “BIBBIDI BOBBIDI BOO!” to YOU!
Until next time, my friends! And if you’d like to see the goings on in other areas of Walt Disney World this week…
Check out What’s New in Disney Springs this week right here!
Thanks, pals!!
