Hey you! Yes, you! Put down that Ronto Wrap and tell the First Order to hang on for just a sec. We have some pretty wild Star Wars news.
Seriously, you might want to grab a seat for this. Disney World’s Star Wars-themed gift shops (on and off of Planet Batuu) have some pretty wild and wonderful wares. You can get R2-D2 merch, Lightsabers, and even a Porg! But, did you know you can also get…olive oil?
Yes, you heard us and no, we can’t believe it either. We were checking out the wares at Tattooine Traders near the exit of Star Tours — The Adventures Continue when something surprising caught our eye behind the register. Is that…an olive oil bottle??!
Well, you can imagine we were confused.
So, we asked a Cast Member what the olive-oil-esque product was and she said she was just as surprised as we were to first spot it but it was, in fact, olive oil. Sorry guys, it’s not from another world or a galaxy far, far away — it’s from California. This is Extra Virgin Olive Oil straight from Skywalker Vineyard.
Ultimately, it’s not THOSE Skywalkers. It would be pretty weird if Luke and Leia retired and started a vineyard but we suppose we could see it (Luke did repair moisture vaporators on Tattooine so…same thing as growing grapes and olives, right?!). It actually belongs to George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars. The vineyard bearing the same name as his famous space family produces wine and olive oil. And now since, apparently, everything even moderately Star Wars-related resides in Disney World, you can also get high-end olive oil here too. The more you know!
You can snag the Skywalker Olive Oil for $34.99 at Tattooine Traders in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Michael Villar says
It is in an obscure location, but the olive oil has been there for at least a year. If I recall, they sell Skywalker wine right next to it. It was a bit pricy for me, but definitely something cool to try.
Todd says
Skywalker Vineyards is known for pinot noir. The winery produces some amazing wines.
Carl says
No where to be found now at G.E. Or H.S. Wine or olive oil.
