Waffles, TONS of cheese, escargot — we’ve had so much food from the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!
But, as they say, all good things must come to an end.
Disney just announced today that the Food & Wine Festival will officially close this year on November 22nd.
The festival started back in July and was slated to be the longest-running EPCOT festival of all time! Although things were certainly a bit different this year, we still enjoyed having some of our favorites and trying LOTS of new treats.
Don’t worry though! You know the phrase “When one door closes, another opens.” Well at EPCOT, it should be changed to “When one festival ends, another begins!” In this case, it’s totally true! The Food & Wine Festival will be closing on November 22nd to make way for the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, which will begin on November 27th! YUM.
So, we’ve got a little over 30 days left to enjoy the Food & Wine Festival before it ends! That’s plenty of time to make some more visits to our favorite booths. If you haven’t planned your trip already and were hoping to visit the Food & Wine Festival, be sure to mark your calendars and schedule your vacation before it ends!

I’m glad I planned our DVC stays just right. I didn’t want to go Veteran’s Day week (Nov 11) which could be a Jersey Week if they have it this year. So I took the week after (we just got back yesterday from a four night stay). So we get more days of Food & Wine in Nov. In Dec we’ll be there for Festival of the Holidays and if they have the Festival of the Arts in Jan, we’ll be there for that. I’m hoping Flower & Garden will be back next year, too.
