One thing that we love about celebrating holidays is creating fun themed crafts to add to our decorations, and Halloween is no different.
We’re knee-deep in Halloween spirit over here (Get it? Spirit?)! As you might have noticed, we’ve been eating our way through all of Disney World’s Halloween treats but we want to bring some of that Halloween fun. And what better way to do it than with some spooky decorations?
1. Flying Zero Paper Craft
If you love The Nightmare Before Christmas and have been looking for sweet hanging decorations to round out your Halloween vibes, you might want to break out your crafting supplies and make this Flying Zero Paper Craft.
For this craft, you’ll need:
- Template printed on cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pencil
- 12″ x 12″ tissue paper
- Clothes hanger
- Tape
- Orange pom pom
- 1 strip of felt
- 2 rhinestones
Make sure all wire bending is done by an adult!
Only a few more steps until you have your very own Zero!

2. Mickey Halloween Bat Mobile
Bats can be cute or spooky and these ones definitely lean towards the cute side. Have you ever seen something more kooky and cute than the Mickey Halloween Bat Mobile?
For this craft, you’ll need:

3. Mickey Pumpkin Garland
But if bats are a little spooky for you, you can always opt to craft up this Mickey Pumpkin Garland to hang around your house. We’ll be hanging these everywhere if you need us.
For this craft, you’ll need:
- Mini plastic pumpkins
- Black, white, purple, orange, and pink acrylic paint
- Cotton swabs
- Black, white, purple, orange, and pink craft foam
- Hot glue
- Twine
- Scissors
- Mickey template
Let’s turn these pumpkins into Mickey pumpkins!
Remember, all cutting and hot gluing should be done by an adult!

4. Lady & The Tramp Pumpkins
Looking for more ways to spruce up your pumpkins this Halloween? Take a peek at this sweet duo of Lady & The Tramp Pumpkins.
For this craft, you’ll need:
- 2 pumpkins
- Acrylic paint: black, light grey, dark grey, beige, light brown
- Medium paintbrushes
- Scissors
- Hot glue
- Felt: 2 sheets of dark brown, 1 sheet of grey and light pink
- Construction paper: red, light blue, yellow, or gold
- Cardboard
- Yellow ribbon or yarn
- 2 small wooden blocks
For this craft, all cutting and gluing should be done by an adult.

5. Mike Wazowski Pumpkin
Next up, we’ve got the Mike Wazowski Pumpkin, and yes, it’s Monsters University Mike. All he needs is a scarecrow Sulley nearby!
For this craft, you’ll need:
- Small pumpkin
- Fine-grain sandpaper
- Green, white, black, blue, teal acrylic paint
- Wire or paperclip
- Paintbrush
And voila! Mike Wazowski is yours!

6. The Child Pumpkin
Got The Child mania? Or maybe you’re being Mando for Halloween? Well, we can’t think of a better decoration to fuel your Mandalorian love than this The Child Pumpkin.
For this craft, you’ll need:
- 8″ Pumpkin
- Acrylic paint (light green, black, white, dark green)
- Paintbrushes
- The Child printable template
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Hot glue
- Glue
This is (definitely) the way to decorate a pumpkin.

7. No-Carve Mickey Pumpkin
Some folks lean more towards a prettier Halloween aesthetic than a spooky one, and to them, we’ve got an option, too! Check out these No-Carve Mickey Pumpkins that Disney shared from influencer Sarah Skaggs.
For this craft, you’ll need:
- 1 Medium Craft Pumpkin
- 1 Sheet White Vinyl, 1 Sheet Black Vinyl
- 8″x10″ Piece of Cardboard
- Craft Knife, Exacto Knife, or Cutting Machine
- Mickey Pumpkin Template
- Pencil or Marker
- Hot Glue Gun

8. Maleficent Wreath
If you’re looking for those villainous vibes, head to the craft store and pick up everything you need for this Maleficent Wreath. She might not be the queen of Halloween but she just might be the queen of evil!
For this craft, you’ll need:
- Small wreath base
- Black spray paint
- Black and purple decorative ribbon
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun
- Black sparkly foam
- Yellow paper
- Googly eyes
This is a trickier craft, but it will look great when you’re done!
It’s all coming together!

9. Main Street Mickey Pumpkin
Finally, you can turn your pumpkins (fake or real, though fake might be a little easier), into an at-home replica of the BIG Main Street Mickey Pumpkin. We definitely miss this feature in Disney World this year, so it might be nice to DIY it for our homes!

- Craft Knife

- Moss mat
- Styrofoam base
- Foam core
- Gray foam sheet
- Small pumpkins
- Floral twine
- Small fake flowers
- Bamboo skewers
- Small beads
- Thin black chain
This is the most difficult craft on this list and not for the faint of heart!
