Planning to head to Disney World during Thanksgiving week to admire the holiday decorations and add a little magic to your (socially distanced) celebrations? You’ll want to make sure you’ve got your Disney Park Pass reservations well in advance!
A few weeks ago, we saw Park Pass reservations filling up Thanksgiving week, and even Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios were unavailable for select guests on certain days, but today things are looking different. If you haven’t already gotten your Park Passes for Thanksgiving week, NOW is your chance!
Let’s take a look at how the availability calendar has changed.
Theme Park Tickets Guests
Previously, Thanksgiving week was basically ALL yellow for Theme Park Tickets Guests — meaning one or more parks were unavailable for those days. But now, we’re seeing a LOT of green! In fact, all of Thanksgiving week (except for Thanksgiving day itself) is green right now for Theme Park Tickets Guests — meaning that Park Pass reservations are available at all parks on those days. Thanksgiving day itself, however, currently appears as yellow, and it looks like Park Passes are unavailable that day for Theme Park Tickets Guests for Magic Kingdom only.
Disney Resort Guests
For Disney Resort Guests, the calendar looks very similar. Park Pass reservations are now available at all 4 theme parks for all of Thanksgiving week, except for Thanksgiving day. Only Magic Kingdom remains full on November 26th, but reservations for the other 3 parks are still available.
Annual Passholders
Things are even better for Annual Passholders! All of Thanksgiving week, including Thanksgiving day, currently appears entirely in green — meaning Park Pass reservations are available at all 4 Disney World theme parks on those days.
We’ve seen Park Pass availability fluctuate quite a bit in the past though, so all of this is subject to change. If you are planning on visiting Disney World during Thanksgiving week and you haven’t already booked your Park Pass reservations, or you are looking to change some of your reservations to parks that previously appeared as “full,” now is definitely your chance to do so!

Hi Kelly!
Do you think this is due to the sudden influx in dining reservations? What’s typically the reason for sudden park pass availability?
DFB Sarah says
Libby, Disney doesn’t illuminate why the availability fluctuates. It could be an increase in capacity, or it could be a bunch of guests cancelling. We really don’t know.
