It’s a busy weekend in Disney World as more crowds head back to the parks and the capacity is increased to 35%!
Since the holiday season has officially kicked off, we’re all excited to see new entertainment, treats, and merchandise sweeping their way across Disney World. While EPCOT will be getting some Christmas magic with the return of the Festival of the Holidays at the end of the month, there was an unexpectedly big line in the World Showcase today.
EPCOT is seeing a lot of guests visiting the park for the end of the Food and Wine Festival and holiday experiences! But, Christmas wasn’t calling this time around because guests in EPCOT were really game for some margs and Mexican food instead.
At the Mexico Pavilion, the line to enter the pyramid stretched all the way past the building and wrapped around the rest of pavilion. When we asked how long of a wait it would be to get inside the pyramid, we were told a WHOPPING 2.5 hours (!!!).
If you’re wanting to get into Mexico today, you’ll have to wait. It’s at capacity and 2.5 hour wait! pic.twitter.com/CZLLfuMcyp

Although guests were socially distanced from one another with markers…
…the Cast Members nearby were turning additional guests away since the pyramid was at capacity.
If you’re heading to EPCOT today and you’re craving some tequila or fajitas from the Mexico Pavilion, you might need to rethink your plans with the long line! Since the queue could change throughout the day, we recommend checking back if you have your heart set on visiting the pyramid. As we make our way around the park, we’ll be sure to give you a look at everything happening in EPCOT today!

What happens if you have a dining reservation at the San Angel Inn and can’t get in the pavilion?

I would assume that they have a que station out front for diner reservation guests.
