The holidays are such an extra magical time at Disney Parks. They’re full of happiness and excitement and unique traditions.
For more than half a century, folks have lined up to get Disneyland’s hand-crafted candy canes that marks the beginning of the Christmas season for many. Unfortunately, this treasured holiday tradition won’t be happening this year.
According to The Orange County Register, Disney officials have announced that the beloved Disneyland candy canes won’t be available this year due to COVID-19 concerns.
The limited-edition Disneyland candy canes are usually sold from Thanksgiving week through Christmas Day at Disneyland’s Candy Palace and Disney California Adventure Trolley Treats.
But even though Trolley Treats will reopen with Buena Vista Street in DCA on November 19th, the classic hand-pulled candy canes will be missing from the typical holiday lineup.
We may not be getting a Disneyland candy cane this year, but we hope we can look forward to the tradition continuing next year!
