A special seasonal churro will be coming back to Disney Springs soon, lots of stores are offering holiday deals during Thanksgiving week, and you may even get to see Santa ON A BOAT while you’re there! Today, as we walked around Disney Springs, we noticed that one shopping kiosk had reopened and we got an update on the future of this same company’s other locations throughout Disney World.

As we strolled around Disney Springs, we noticed that this spot had recently reopened. In fact, when we spoke to a Cast Member there, they indicated that the Pearl Factory kiosk at Disney Springs reopened last Friday. But, the Cast Member told us that Pearl Factory’s other location in Disney World, which was at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort, would not be reopening. We haven’t seen an official announcement from Pearl Factory on this, but did notice that the Disney Springs location is the only one listed on the Pearl Factory’s website for Store Locations in Florida. We’ll let you know if we hear of any other updates.

You may be wondering if the pearl experience in the Japan pavilion at The Mitsukoshi Department Store will be affected by this change. The pearl experience in the Japan pavilion remains closed at this time, but it is owned by a separate company and so it shouldn’t be affected by the changes going on at Pearl Factory.

So sad that the pick-a-pearl is not open in the Japan pavillion. We went 5 years ago and my grandson picked my pearl and necklace. The Cast Members were a delight with teaching him Japanese. He still remembers today how to count. We were hoping when we go in February 2023, that my granddaughter could do the same thing. But I’m glad we can do it at another location.
