Since Disney World reopened, we’ve mostly been seeing characters EXCLUSIVELY in the parks.
Holiday Character Cavalcade
There have been a few exceptions though. When Disney Springs reopened, we spotted Storm Troopers making announcements, and just yesterday Goofy and Pluto were out saying hi to guests from Disney’s Beach Club Resort’s Stormalong Bay pool. And, of course, you can meet characters at Topolino’s Terrace and soon at Chef Mickey’s. Now, there’s a chance that we’ll see MORE characters visiting the resort hotels soon!
Today, WDWMagic reported that pop-up events may bring Disney characters to the Disney World Resort hotels in customized RVs this month. If these events do happen, they would be unannounced and socially distanced.
Pluto and Goofy!
We reached out to Disney World Cast Members about this and could not get any confirmation. One Cast Member we spoke to said, “…Until an announcement is made, we’re not sure when [characters] will be returning [to the resort hotels].”

Boy, we sure do hope that our favorite characters DO come by the hotels. After all, it’s so fun to see them!

They were are Disney Caribbean Beach resort this morning near the Skyline Transfer station!
That’s a great idea I would love to see characters at the resort’s . It would make the stay more MAGICAL people would appreciate it ! I hope Disney really does it !
