We found a fashionable way to keep your cool in Disney World!
As those familiar with Florida weather may know, it can get HOT in Disney World! Especially if you’re standing in a queue with little airflow. So when we spotted some adorable handheld character fans in the parks earlier this year, you could say we were a big fan of this merch idea.
And on our latest trip to Magic Kingdom, we spotted some more handheld fan designs to help us stay comfortable in the parks!
While strolling through the Emporium, this Rainbow Mickey Fan was the first to catch our eye. It reminds us a bit of the Rainbow Mickey Icon Fan we spotted before, but with a different twist to the design!
We also noticed an Orange Bird Fan, that also offers a fresh take on a design we spotted before. While the Orange Bird Fan we found earlier this year just featured his face, this one has his full body, with the text “Squeeze Me!”
And last but not least check out this gorgeous Cinderella Castle Fan. We love the way the rainbow colors fade into each other with Cinderella Castle featured on one side in all its glory!
If you’d like to snag one of these cute AND functional souvenirs, we spotted them in the Emporium for $9.99 each. Now that’s what we call a cool piece of merch!

Hey guys! Thanks for such an awesome resource. I was looking all over for these fans at MK yesterday. I can’t seem to find them. Do you have any idea of you can still purchase them, and if so, where? Thanks!

Kristen, we are still seeing them at Mouse Gear and World of Disney. They may still be in some Resort gift shops, too.
