As the holidays at Disney are out in full force, and our good friend Cheryl Perlmutter, one of the informed voices on the Disney Film Project, sent over some photos of one of our favorite additions!
New Nut Stand in Epcot's World Showcase
A new glazed almond and pecan stand has been added to the spot recently vacated by the Food and Wine Festival Belgium booth, right next to Les Chefs de France!
They do have glazed nut stands set up in the Magic Kingdom and elsewhere in Walt Disney World year-round, but I think they’re extra special at the holidays…and I haven’t seen this stand before!

This booth sells cinnamon-glazed almonds, cinnamon-glazed pecans, beer, and water. It’s pretty straightforward, but as soon as you get a whiff of those glazed almonds we think you’ll be won over! They’re delicious (and think of the added protein to keep you going on a long touring day!!).

The glazed almonds and pecans quickly became my favorite snack in all Disney. I couldn’t walk by one of the carts and not get some. Oh my, they are wonderful!
Glazed almonds are amazing! What a great way to fuel up for the day!
The almonds my wife’s absolute favorite snack. We have found them in various venues such as ball parks, concert halls, arenas and of course WDW. She says they taste best there. ( Doesn’t everything!!). I bought a kit for making them from Amazon for her and they are easy to make and taste great.
these are my wifes fav… we have gotten them at MK and DTD, now at epoct too.. i hope they keep this.. we like to use our left over snack credits to take these home.
Discovered these for the first time on our last trip and fell…IN LOVE!!! These things were amazing!! They had pecans, and almonds at the Epcot location we found. Then we found them again at Downtown Disney and they had cashews too!! This is definitely a new favorite treat for us!! We will most definitely be frequenting these stands on future trips!! Where do you get them at Magic Kingdom?
We got some of these last week when we were at WDW, and I honestly wasn’t all that impressed. They only had almonds, from what I saw. That’s not a bad thing…just wanted to mention I didn’t see any other varieties like pecans or cashews.
And while they smelled amazing, they weren’t as good as I’d hoped. I’ve had better ones elsewhere.
We fell in love with the pecans! We saw kiosks with almonds everywhere, but could only find pecans in AK in the carnival area of DinoLand. Where else are the pecans located? Maybe we just missed them.
