If you have a sweet tooth, then you’ve gotta head to Decadent Delights!
While there are lots of savory options to try at this festival, it’s ALL about the sweets at this Food Studio!
You can find Decadent Delights at Promenade Refreshments. This is a returning studio, but its menu looks quite different in comparison to previous years. Let’s take a look!
Food at Decadent Delights
In past years, we’ve seen elaborate treats at this Studio, like the White Chocolate and Sweet Potato Mousse. But this year’s menu is looking a little scarce with just two soft-serve flavors and some drinks. The Raspberry Soft-Serve and the Lemon Soft-Serve are available for $5.25 each.
We though the lemon was delicious, but the raspberry had a bit of a medicinal taste to it. We also thought the texture of the raspberry was a little off — like it was more yogurt than ice cream.
However, we went back and asked if we could get the two flavors swirled, and the answer was yes! THIS IS HOW WE DO IT.
A Cast Member told us the swirl would taste sort of like bananas, and although we were skeptical, we totally got a banana aftertaste with the first bite, which is kinda’ weird, but also awesome! We think the raspberry is SO much better with the two flavors swirled.
Drinks at Decadent Delights
This Food Studio is also offering up some different drinks this year. You can find a North Coast Brewing Co. Scrimshaw Pilsner that will set you back $4.50. Another beer offering is the Deco IPA from M.I.A. Beer Company for $4.50.
And for any peanut butter fans, there’s the Saugatuck Brewing Co. Peanut Butter Porter for $4.50! If you can’t choose just one, you can also get a Beer Flight! It’ll cost $9.50 to taste all three beers.
The Scrimshaw Pilsner is pretty good, although it’s just a pretty basic beer. There’s nothing exciting about it, but it’s totally something that we could drink any time. The MIA Beer Company Deco IPA had a woody, nutty flavor and was certainly more unique.
But it was the Peanut Butter Porter that got our attention — it’s really smooth, and if you like peanut butter, you’ll want to try this one for yourself!
This is also the location to collect your Redemption Cookie after completing The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine! After trying the walk’s five designated foods in your Festival Passport and collecting stamps for each of them, you can show your stamps to get this complimentary cookie! It’s not on the menu, but we were told it can be purchased for $3.
Overall
Sure, this booth has the title “Decadent” in it, and none of these items seem all that decadent. However, everything did live up to the “Delights” part of the name! We would recommend pretty much everything but the raspberry soft-serve, although if you want to try it, we recommend getting it as a swirl like we did!
We’re busy trying out ALL the food at the 2021 EPCOT Festival of the Arts, so stay tuned for more reviews!
