When traveling to Disney World, there are a variety of places you could stay!
Many guests choose to stay on-site, enjoying the luxuries of a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, with direct transportation to the parks and special perks. Others decide to stay off-site in vacation homes or other hotels for cheaper or more spacious accommodations. In the coming years, there’s going to be a new choice for those who wish to try staying outside the Disney World property lines — the Evermore Orlando Resort.
In 2023, the Evermore Orlando Resort will open in phases as a 10,000 room, billion-dollar project. The resort should offer “a new approach to vacationing” with a community of homes built specifically for vacation rentals.
The resort will include flats and homes with 2-11 bedrooms each, Orlando’s first Conrad Hotel (Hilton’s luxury brand), a 20-acre tropical beach complex, an 8-acre crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons, an 18-hole Nicklaus Design golf course, and several restaurants. It will border Walt Disney World, just minutes away from Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs.
The project is spearheaded by Dart Interests and is a redevelopment of the Villas at Grand Cypress. Christopher Kelsey, President of Dart Interests, says “With the launch of the Evermore project, Dart is introducing an entirely new hospitality category that will change the landscape of vacation rental homes.”
The first phase of the project will open with about 1500 bedrooms spread across vacation homes, flats, villas, and the Conrad Hotel. The hotel itself will debut with 433 rooms, 40,000 square feet of meeting space, a spa, and numerous dining options. Bookings for the resort are slated to launch in 2022 and the first guests will likely arrive in Summer 2023.

I hope they don’t get to partner with the parks. As the saying goes, “there goes the neighborhood.”

The buzzards are circling, and Disney has the smell of death on it.

Perhaps they should offer some form of “Magical Express”. I’d consider staying with them.
Lydia says
All these places to stay bring more people but Disney needs to think about more PARK. It’s already overcrowded on most non-Covid days. Instead of more people, Disney needs more space and stuff to do.

I always stay on site for my last 3trips.before I. Use To stay at nearby hotels or rent a villa gated house.

Evermore Orlando giving Disney a run for there money . Disney is sticking us all on prices for lodging . Disney Resorts are great but this place could be bigger room less money 💰Disney is not giving us any thing more just less and less . I am D V C Member so I do good but if I was not I might not go back to Disney anymore . To build a resort with all kinds of housing villas , hotel rooms it looks like a resort community. It would be something to check out !

Wow! I read about this project. Unbelievable. That will be awesome. It’s nice to relax and go to parks or not.

So basically another Encore. They’re exactly the same. Plus they have their own water park.
Meh, not interested. We own at Holiday Inn Vacation club, Orange Lake Country club on 192, and live in Winter Haven. I’m close enough to not need a vacation home near Disney.

Additional activities at WDW and Universal are going to be needed. Let the development begin or the crowds will be even worse. Fastpasses need to return, please.

Evermore looks like a great place spacious rooms and free transportation probably less money per night . Disney worry because people are tired of high price rooms with not much spacing .
