Due to the global pandemic, quite a few events at Disney World were canceled last year, including Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Candlelight Processional, and others.
Now, we have received an update from Disney World about one upcoming holiday event — Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which typically takes place at Magic Kingdom in Disney World from around August to early November, has officially been canceled for 2021.
Instead, it will be replaced by the Disney After Hours Boo Bash. Considering that many of the hallmarks of the party, including fireworks, character meet-and-greets, and stage shows, are still temporarily suspended, this makes sense.
We’ll keep an eye out for more updates on that and let you know when we spot any new information.

The Boo Bash sounds great for older kids. Will there be anything for little ones who will be back at the hotels by 9:00 pm???
