Headed to Disney World next week?
If you are, we want to make sure your wonderful Disney vacation is as easy as it can be. So, let’s take a look at the weather update to make sure you’ve got the right stuff packed to stay comfy while you have fun!
Weather Forecast
According to The Weather Channel, is going to be a whole lot warmer and a whole lot rainier than in recent weeks! Last week was a bit of a whirlwind, so at least we’ll be getting a little bit more consistency! Take a look!
February 8th
Monday, February 8th will kick off the week with pretty comfy temperatures. That day is going to max out at a 75-degree high and we’ll see 65 degrees at night. Wow! That’s one of the higher lows we’ve seen in a few weeks.
But we’ll probably see some showers and scattered storms. It’s Florida! With a warm front comes RAIN.
February 9th
The next day, February 9th, brings us even WARMER temps hitting 80 degrees during the day and keeping that low of 65 degrees.
We’ll see a mix of clouds, sun, and storms this day so definitely have that poncho or raincoat on hand.
February 10th
On Wednesday, February 10th, we’re going to see temps jump back down a little bit but stay pretty warm. Keep an eye on that low as it drops into the high 50s!
This day should be relatively nice with slightly lower winds and a cooler night. Be warned of isolated thunderstorms!
February 11th
For Thursday, February 11th, we’re seeing a pretty mellow day in the high-70s and a moderate evening in the low 60s.
Yup, you can bet that chance of rain continues. These likely won’t be all-day rain events, but you might find yourself caught off guard with a shower or two each day.
February 12th
The week continues in about the same place with a higher chance of rain on February 12th.
There are showers in the forecast in the evening that might be a little harder to miss than the scattered storms.
February 13th
Saturday, February 13th brings us a bit of a drop in temperatures in the day and night. This is the day we’ll be seeing some rain so make sure you break out that poncho or rain jacket.
Here, we’re looking at a 64-degree high and a 48-degree low. Those temps will feel extra chilly with the rain!
February 14th
And we’ll wrap up our week on February 14th with probably our driest day and a 64-degree high and a 49-degree low.
That chance of rain is still around, but we might get away without seeing any on Sunday!
Overview of the Week
Here is a full overview of the week according to The Weather Channel. Temperatures are projected to be relatively warm for most of the week before a little drop at the end. We’re looking at a range of 60s to 80s highs and 40s to 60s lows.
Other websites like Click Orlando News 6…
…and WESH 2 News have similar forecasts throughout the week.
We’re inclined to think that these forecasts are accurate since Florida does have a bit of a rainy habit, but predictions can change! Keep checking back as you get closer to your trip.

Tips for Weathering the Weather!
If you are taking a trip over to Disney World next week, we’ve got a few tips on how to pack and plan for the weather!
Get ready for rain!
This is the first week in a while that there are lots of storms in the forecast so you very well could find yourself in a bit of a wet week. Bring a rain jacket or poncho and make sure it’s packed in your park bag (even on a sunny morning). It can be pricy to gear up in Disney stores!
Plus, storms tend to come in the afternoon and Disney will close some outdoor attractions if there’s lightning. If you’ve got a must ride with outdoor portions (especially if they’re high up!), you’ll want to ride earlier in the day. Think: Splash Mountain, Expedition Everest, Test Track, etc.
Layer, baby, layer!
These temperatures are DEFINITELY looking more hospitable than last week, but it’s still a good idea to make sure you’ve got layers for those cooler nights. Especially with the rain, it might surprise you how cold 60 degrees can feel!
Plus, later in the week, you’re looking at 60-degree days and lows in the 40s! That won’t be too comfy if you’ve forgotten to snag a jacket, scarf, or hat.
