Hong Kong Disneyland reopened on February 19th!
The park spent most of 2020 closing and reopening repeatedly. After originally shutting down in January, it reopened in June only to close again in July, reopen in September, and close AGAIN in December. So this February reopening is its THIRD time welcoming back guests since its initial closure. Phew!
We’ve gotten some announcements about the park’s 15th anniversary, like a transformed Castle of Magical Dreams. But now, Hong Kong Disneyland has released information about its safety policies and procedures.
First of all, the park will be closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays (excluding public holidays and other designated days) until further notice.
Guests will also be required to undergo temperature screening, wear an approved face covering, and either scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” QR code or register contact details as required by regulations. Social distancing measures have been implemented, and character experiences have been modified.
Lastly, guests are required to register for park visits with their name and contact number. Reservations for Magic Access Platinum members are available 9 days before arrival, while Gold & Silver members may reserve 8 days before arrival. Other guests can reserve 7 days before arrival.
We’ll continue to keep you posted as the reopening process at Hong Kong Disneyland continues. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!
