It’s already April! Can you believe it?!
April is a popular time to travel to Disney World because of Easter, and spring break is still in full swing! Well, if you’re one of those people planning to visit Disney World, we’ve got lots of good stuff to share with you today. These are the 5 best things to do in Disney World in April.
EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival
The 2021 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival has been in full swing for a few weeks now, and it’s definitely something you’re going to want to experience during your Disney World trip! There are over 60 different eats throughout the festival booths. Now, we know that might sound a little overwhelming. Luckily, we’ve got you covered!
For each festival, we put together our Best of the Fest to help YOU decide which food is worth your time (and money). But, if you do want to try every single thing, we won’t judge you 😉. Beyond the food, there are also dozens of stunning gardens and topiaries all throughout EPCOT that are seriously impressive.
And in terms of entertainment, there’s a new concert experience that features local bands from Orlando. In addition, you’ll find performances from EPCOT regulars like Mariachi Cobre and The Jammitors. There are also scavenger hunts like Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration and the Egg-stravaganza!
When you complete those activities, you even win a prize! Those activities can be fun for everyone in the family, so check them out during your festival day. The Flower and Garden Festival runs through July 5th, so even if you’re not visiting in April, there’s still time to see it.
What You NEED to Know About the 2021 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival
Easter Treats
From basic cupcakes, to chocolate eggs, and bunny butts galore — there are so many different Easter treats all throughout Disney World.Â
You can even find some treats that aren’t so basic! At The Ganachery in Disney Springs, you’ll find a chocolate bunny filled with BOOZE. A unique Key Lime Easter Cupcake is also on the menu at Roaring Fork at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
And, we’ve tried a lot of them so you can check out our reviews to see which treats are the best for you! But be warned, a lot of them are (almost) too cute to eat.

Earth Day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is celebrating Earth Day between April 18th and 24th! In the park, you can look forward to new character experiences and even learn to draw different characters like Dumbo, Squirt, Simba, and more at The Animation Experience at Conservation Station.
And one of the things that we’re most looking forward to is obviously the food! Some of these items have already started to pop up around the parks.
You’ll be able to grab the Honey Bee Cupcake from Creature Comforts, the Flamingo Cupcake from Flame Tree Barbecue, and the Sea Turtle Graham Cracker Cupcake from Restaurantosaurus Lounge.
And, if you’re looking for some special Earth Day souvenirs, Disney’s got you covered! You’ll find eco-friendly water bottles, plenty of plushes, and a limited edition Te Hiti trading pin. Also, Wilderness Explorers have the chance to earn a special Earth Day Nature badge.
If you’ve been to Animal Kingdom recently, you’ll know that there’s a HUGE sand sculpture inspired by Raya and the Last Dragon on display. For Earth Day, it’s being transformed into a new sculpture modeled after Secrets of the Whales, a show coming to Disney+.
Beyond that, special PhotoPass opportunities are coming to the park as well. Be sure to check out all the festivities during your Animal Kingdom day!

Egg Displays at Disney Resorts
An exciting spring tradition at Disney World is the addition of stunning Easter egg displays to the resorts. These chocolate eggs are created by Disney Pastry Chefs and they’re seriously impressive.
The display we recently spotted at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort takes inspiration from classic Disney films like Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan.
You can find these beauties on display in a few different locations, and we definitely recommend stopping by to check them out!
