When it comes to animals, they are going to do their own thing — and that’s why we love them, right?
We’ve watched ducks decide to have an impromptu date at the parks (and we even watched a duck take a nap). We’ve seen a male pheasant try to impress a female pheasant, and she just wasn’t having it. Thanks to @jess_isbaking on Instagram, we’ve now seen the newest residents of Disney World’s Batuu — and they’re not what you might think!
So here’s a video of some birds building a nest in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Are these birds native to Batuu?! Birds nest spotted in Black Spire Outpost! 📸: jess_isbaking on Instagram pic.twitter.com/JbWbQkevuM

Honestly, we’re a little jealous because if we tried to move into Batuu, we’d get kicked out of the parks! But these birds are going to have a nice little nest egg (see what we did there?) of a home in the center of it all that amazing Star Wars awesomeness. NO FAIR! They do, however, fit in with the theme of Batuu — who’s to say they aren’t native to the area?
We’re keeping up with all the fun animal antics at Disney World, so stay tuned for more fun photos and videos.
