It’s been quite a rainy day in Disney World today.
The scene today in Magic Kingdom, under a “Severe Weather Warning,” was definitely ominous (and wet), but still, that wasn’t the most disappointing part of our day. We’ve seen things been abandoned in Disney World before, like Dole Whip and Mickey balloons. But today, we saw something that shook us to our core.
Our love for Mickey Pretzels and Cheese in any form runs DEEP.
So you can understand our emotional response to finding abandoned snacks in the middle of a seemingly abandoned Magic Kingdom on this utterly bizarre bad-weather day at Disney World.
As soon as the torrential downpour started, we weren’t surprised to see crowds fleeing towards the exits, or under shelters. What we WEREN’T prepared for was the aftermath…
An unopened cup of cheese. Tossed aside, or dropped maybe, likely in an escape attempt from the rain.
It’s like a gooey cheddar tumbleweed in a deserted wilderness.
As if that wasn’t powerful enough, when we stopped to dry off in an EMPTY Frontierland, we were shocked to find an entire snack spread left behind!
The Mickey Pretzel was barely even touched! And don’t get us started on that cheese, either.
It’s a tragic tale, and these snacks simply deserved better. Check back with us for more updates from Disney World!

That burns my biscuits. Not that they didn’t eat the snacks but that they just left them there. A garbage can could not be far away..much has been made about how Walt personally researched where they should be placed. Do people think the cast members are their personal maids/butlers? Do they think it would be nice if food was discarded all over the park for people to look at? Do they find something aesthetically pleasing in rotting garbage? Whoever left this should be banned for life!

They couldn’t even be bothered to throw it away and just left it for someone else to clean up. Shameful

Oh, Mouse preserve us. What sad, sad losses

Did you grab the abandoned cheese or leave it alone?
