We’ve got a HUGE update, DFB friends!
PeopleMover
By now, you probably know that the PeopleMover in Magic Kingdom has been closed for a LONG time. It first shut down in March 2020, and we haven’t seen it reopen since! The reopening has been delayed again…and again…and again, but now, we’ve got BIG news.
Jeff Vahle, President of Walt Disney World, has confirmed that the PeopleMover is reopening “later this weekend.” WHAT?! He shared that he recently checked in with the team in charge of the refurbishment, and that the ride will soon be ready to “delight a new generation.” We’re pretty delighted, too!
We can’t wait to ride this again!
If you’ll be in Magic Kingdom this weekend, enjoy your grand tour of Tomorrowland. We’ll be there, too!

Yay!!! So excited!! That’s one of our favorite “rides”!!! When we get tired, wanna take breather and just relax, we hop on the People Mover! Sometimes when there is no line, we even ask the cast member if we can stay on and go around again! Haha
They had me sweating for a minute…all I could think of was the unfortunate fate of the Disneyland PeopleMover…
Can you please do a story on when the restaurant Space 220 will open and how do we get reservations?
My adult kids and I are going in late Nov 2021 to celebrate my 50th bday and this is a must.

Love the People Mover! It’s a nice break from all the rushing around and crowds.
I’ll believe it when I actually see people riding it.
dfb has reported this MANY times in the past year. And it always ends up NOT opening at the last minute.
So how about holding off on getting our hopes up until it’s Actually open. Then report on that.
