Hello to all our DFB friends out there!
We’ve spent a little time wandering around Disney World’s resorts to see what’s been going on since we were there last. So let’s get on with some updates, shall we?
Disney’s Beach Club Resort Food Updates
Beach Club Marketplace
Not every snack at Disney World can be a hit, and the Sweeter Than Roses treat was just a mess that didn’t do much to wow us. It’s made with raspberry mousse on a chocolate hazelnut cake, with a ruby red raspberry center and chocolate fondant decorations. You can try it out for yourself, though here and at The Market at Ale & Compass through May 9th for $5.79.
However, the Peaches Delight Macarons WERE better, although the macarons were a bit chewier than they should have been. These are available now for $6.19.
One of the prettiest cupcakes we’ve ever seen came from Beach Club Marketplace this week! The Mother’s Day Bouquet Cupcake is a Red Velvet Cupcake filled with Chocolate Mousse and decorated with Buttercream flowers.
And it tasted as good as it looked, especially if you love chocolate like we do! It’s available until May 9th here and at The Market at Ale & Compass.

Beaches and Cream
Beaches and Cream created the sundae of our dreams with the Bailey’s Brownie Sundae. It’s 3 scoops of coffee ice cream, a brownie soaked in Baileys Irish Cream, and it’s topped with Baileys Irish Cream-infused whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a cherry. And yes, it’s amazing.
Beaches and Cream knocked it out of the park with this one and we hope it sticks around for a while. It’s available now for $18 and it is WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Disney’s Riviera Resort Other Updates
Valet parking is finally returning to Disney World resorts. We first saw it return to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, but it’s also back at Disney’s Riviera Resort, too!
It’s $33 per day at both resorts.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Food Updates
Pineapple Lanai
The Millennium Falcon Sundae flew into Pineapple Lanai for a limited time and we got to try it out! It’s made with galactic gray vanilla soft-serve with chocolate cream cookie crumbles, chocolate drizzle, white chocolate pearl stars, brownie asteroid pieces with stardust sparkles, and a Millennium Falcon chocolate accent piece.
Basically, this sundae has all our favorite things in it, so we loved it! Unfortunately, it was gone in less than 12 parsecs… .

We found a brand new Moana Mug! How far will we go for this mug? It’s available for $20.
We also noticed a new digital screen upstairs next to Moana Mercantile.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort Food Updates
Drop Off Pool Bar
We dropped by the Drop Off Pool Bar to check out the brand NEW Churro Horchata Milkshake. It’s made with Vanilla milkshake with Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Rice Milk, and Captain Morgan Spiced Rum. And yes, it’s yummy, although VERY sweet.
We thought it reminded us more of Eggnog! Grab it now for $12.

Matthew Locey says
How far will we go for the Moana mug-hilarious! Speaking of Moana, her on her little canoe in the Seven Seas Lagoon fronting the Hotel for the video cover was a great concept and well done. AJ – love your work and keep jumping onto those hotel room beds – love it. Your reports are informative, well done and fun, not to mention your charming voice and personality. Keep up the good work. I’ll be in Disney World in Sept. – can’t wait!
