It’s been almost a year since Disney World reopened!
Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Since it reopened to guests in July of 2020, several hotels and restaurants have reopened including fan-favorites Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom and Chef Mickey’s in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Recently, Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort got a reopening date, and it is SOON!
Reservations for Cape May Cafe are now officially OPEN! Disney’s Beach Club Resort doesn’t reopen until May 30th, but the restaurant itself is available starting on May 18th!

Since tables are spread out in restaurants to allow social distancing, reservations are slightly harder to come by, so you’ll want to book them fast! Guests will be able to have both breakfast and dinner. Minnie’s Beach Bash Character Breakfast and the Seafood-and-More Dinner Buffet will not be available for the time being.

Breakfast is all-you-care-to-eat family-style and will include pastries, omelets, and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse waffles! Dinner includes Parker House rolls and cornbread, a seafood boil with a variety of fresh seafood options, The Turf Platter with steak and chicken, and lobster mac and cheese. Characters will NOT appear at Cape May Cafe when it reopens.

Chef Mickey’s is also opening up for dinner for the first time since the closures on May 16th! We’ll continue to keep you updated on the latest reopenings in Disney World, so stay tuned!
