Happy Halfway to Halloween!
It’s the second spookiest time of the year (next to Halloween itself), and Disney is offering up some new treats including a Pumpkin Spice Milkshake and Hocus-Pocus themed hot cocoa. Earlier today, we got our hands on TWO incredible limited-time treats from Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs, and tonight we’re back for more!
We told you earlier that Gideon’s Bakehouse would be offering a secret treat that only appears after sunset…so of course we had to check out what the secret was! The bakery is known for its gigantic half-pound cookies, and we were happy to see that the secret treat was the Triple Chocolate Coffee Cake Cookie.
So we’ve had the Coffee Cake Cookie and the Triple Chocolate Cookie from Gideon’s Bakehouse before, but these flavors COMBINED?! Not until today! These don’t seem like two flavors you would normally put together, but it worked SO well.
We’ve tried just about every cookie at Gideon’s Bakehouse, and THIS has got to be our favorite flavor. That’s saying a lot because we haven’t met a Gideon’s cookie we don’t like, but these two flavors together are incredible.
The cookie is a triple chocolate cookie with a coffee cake coating on the outside. The inside is super fudge-y, and is just the right amount of sweet. We had no complaints except that it was only available tonight.
The Triple Chocolate Coffee Cake Cookie was the secret item available after sunset today, and we aren’t sure when or if it will be available again anytime soon. You bet we’ll be on the lookout for this flavor

When was this post written? Was this this year? Which month? This secret cookie sounds amazing, but I have no idea when it’s available.

Hhhmmmmm. They specifically asked customers not to share what the cookie was. I know this bc I was one of those customers. But ok

According to the page link, it looks like it was written 5/10/21.

Clairest, I believe this story is dated May 10th, 2021, because I see that date in the URL. I can’t ever see the URL at the top of my screen, because it always says only”disneyfoodblog.com.” However, if I copy and paste that into notes, I can see the entire URL that includes the date. For years I have been reading dfb posts and have seen people asking them to put dates on their articles, but the dfb just will not do it. It is frustrating. I suspect they do not want their posts to ever show as old so people will continue to click on them not knowing it could be outdated and no longer accurate. It is terrible when you think it’s current information you use only to find it was old and messed up your plans.
