Headed to Disney World next week?
Well, you’re probably going to get packing pretty soon! If that’s the case, it’s important that you know what kind of weather you can expect when you get to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Will it be dry? Hot? Rainy? Let’s take a look at next week’s forecast!
Weather Forecast
According to The Weather Channel, this week is going to bring a BUNCH of stormy days. We’ve gotten off without rain for a few weeks in Orlando, but it looks like that might change.
On the bright side, it’s going to be a little bit cooler than the 90s temperatures of last week, you’ll just need to focus on staying dry at times! Let’s take a look.
May 31st
Monday, May 31st will start the week with a dip from last week’s temperatures. Don’t be fooled though, a high 80s day is still going to be on the warm side. That day is going to max out at an 88-degree high and we’ll see 71 degrees at night.
We kick off the week with scattered thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon. You better get used to it too! Storms are the norm this week; don’t worry, we’ve got some tips to help you with staying dry and comfy in just a sec.
June 1st
The next day, June 1st brings us a SLIGHTLY cooler forecast with a high of 87 degrees during the day and keeping that low down at a VERY comfortable 71 degrees.
Fewer storms are the prediction here, but you will have to contend with extreme UV levels. Make sure you prep for some serious sun.
June 2nd
On Wednesday, June 2nd, we’re going to see temps edge down just a little bit more. So, we’ll be walking around the parks in the mid-80s again. Your low is gonna ease up a little for another comfy evening.
The challenge with many of the days next week is that you’ll be dealing with hot temperatures and high UV levels, while also having to be ready for rain at any moment. Well, that’s Florida for you!
June 3rd
For Thursday, June 3rd, we’re seeing a day with pretty much the same temps in the mid-80s and a beautiful evening at 73 degrees.
We get a lot of daylight here in Florida! You’ll see the sun from 6:30AM-ish to 8:15PM-ish most days.
June 4th
The week continues with similar temperatures in the day and another low 70s night on June 4th.
Surprise (Just kidding.)! There are more scattered thunderstorms in the prediction for this day. Pack that poncho!
June 5th
Saturday, June 5th brings us slightly more mild temps with a drop to the mid-80s. This is by no means cool, but if a storm happens across, you might find yourself with very comfy temperatures just after.
Here, we’ll see an 86-degree high and a 73-degree low.
June 6th
And we’ll wrap up our week on June 6th with still toasty temperatures and yet another day where you could see some rain.
Keep in mind, it probably won’t rain all day any of these days, and you might not even be caught in a storm at all! Still, it’s best to be prepared because you never know when the skies could open up.
Overview of the Week

Tips for Weathering the Weather!
We’ve got you covered with some tips to help you out with next week’s weather!
Prep for rain!
As you can probably tell from the forecast, rain could happen at any time (maybe without warning). It’s important that you pack a rain layer with you in your park bag lest you end up totally soaked.
Plus, since these are STORMS in the forecast, you might want to make a plan to ride any outdoor must-do attractions in the morning. Storms tend to roll through in the afternoon and they can close rides like Test Track, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and more.

And prep for sun!
You might be super prepped for the rain this week, but you have to prep for the sun too. It’s going to be hot and those UV levels are on the high end of the scale every day. It’s important that you stay safe and comfy so you don’t end up dehydrated or dealing with a nasty sunburn.
Drink LOTS of water (which you can get for free from most quick-service spots), apply sunscreen often, and wear a hat and/or sunglasses. You’ll thank yourself later when you’re not dealing with any painful repercussions.
