As Disney World continues with its phased reopening, certain elements or experiences remain unavailable.
However, while certain hotels, restaurants, and attractions are still closed, we’re slowly seeing others reopen. Earlier this year, Disney’s Beach Club Resort reopened in full, and Tusker House welcomed guests again! But if you’re planning a stay at a Disney hotel, you’ll want to know about another returning option.
Disney’s Club Level lounges have remained closed since the parks reopened last summer, and “Club Level” rooms and suites have not had Club Level service. However, soon they will follow a phased opening plan.
We’ll see Club Level rooms, suites, and lounges reopen at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney’s BoardWalk Resort, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Disney has NOT yet announced a timeline for the lounges at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort or Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort.
Disney previously shared the current reopening schedule with travel agents — you can see it below:
UPDATE: Here’s an updated look at these reopening dates as shared on the Disney World website. Note that a reopening date is now listed for the Club Level lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Disney’s previous notice shared that the lounges would follow social distancing guidelines and require face masks indoors, in accordance to current safety policies. Note that distancing guidelines have changed at Disney World, and face masks are once again required for all guests indoors.
As for those Club Level rooms and suites? They became available to book starting on June 4th for most of the locations listed above. Reservations for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge in general are also now available.
We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about how these Club Level amenities will return to the Disney hotels. Stay tuned to DFB for more news!

Called WDW Thursday night and was on hold 35 minutes. Told reservations were not opening at 6:00 am for online but at 7:00 online and via phone. Thus one of us online at 7:00 the other on the phone at 7:00. NO ROOMS at Contemporary Resort for concierge listed on website online. I was told I was the first call for the cast member who I spoke with. Rooms were all gone on the 12th and 14th floor of the Contemporary by the time my cast member checked. Was told to keep checking website throughout the day. Nothing. Called back last night and was on hold about 40 minutes. No concierge at Contemporary. Only way to get is if someone cancels and you are lucky enough to check at that very moment per cast member’s words.

Su, that sounds frustrating! I hope something opens up for you.

Do one of the wonderful DFB staff have reservations for when this starts in September? Because I’m very curious as to if this will be fully back to normal or if things will be set up different.
DFB Sarah says
Katrina, I’ve passed your request on to the team! We will check into it.
Jennifer says
Have you heard any chatter about when you can add Club to a 2022 Resy at Poly?
DFB Sarah says
Jennifer, nothing from Disney on this yet!
