Disney World is known for some pretty unique snacks, but they also know how to take traditional treats to the next level.
Yes, you could always opt for a churro, Dole Whip (one of our absolute favorites), or specialty dessert, but what about the times that you find yourself craving something a bit simpler — a cookie? Well, we’ve got ya covered because we’re talking about ALL the places you can find the BEST cookies in Disney World!
Gideon’s Bakehouse
First up, we HAVE to talk about Gideon’s Bakehouse. This over-the-top bakery opened in Disney World at the beginning of the year and has taken the Disney cookie scene by storm. Here they serve up GIANT half-pound cookies (yes, you read that right!) and each one is just as good as the next.
Now, we can’t name just ONE cookie from here that is king because they’re ALL good. But…if we have to, the Coffee Cake Cookie is a delicious vanilla bean cookie that is filled with cinnamon strudel then topped with double-baked butter crumbs. You have to get to Disney Springs early if you want to get your hands on this guy though, it can only be ordered in the mornings and you can only find it at Disney Springs. This was an EXTRA RARE extra special cookie at the OG Gideon’s location and when the Springs location opened, they announced they’d sell it ER’YDAY! It’s basically like eating a half-pound slab of coffee cake/cinnamon roll hybrid…in cookie form.
If you’re looking for something a bit…simpler, look no further than the original that started it all: the chocolate chip cookie. Here, just like other Gideon’s cookies, you’ll get a half-pound of buttery, sugary goodness totally crusted in big chocolate chips and sprinkled liberally with sea salt. If you’re a fan of slightly underbaked and gooey-centered cookies, you just found your new love language in these cookies.
And, if you need more proof that these cookies are delicious, people are willing to wait HOURS to get them in Disney Springs. The shop opened with a virtual line, so you now need to check-in and will receive a text when it’s your turn to join the line. But that doesn’t make it any easier to get in — we’ve seen waits of over THREE HOURS for the cookies, so you need to come with your patience hat on if you want the goods. Of course, we’ve got some tips and tricks to help ya out though, so be sure to check them out before you head to Disney Springs! These cookies come in at $6 each, but that can be a bargain given the density of just one cookie!

Carrot Cake Cookie
If you’re not up for waiting in a three-hour line for a cookie there’s no need to worry — there are still LOTS of other great cookies to pick from in Disney World like the Carrot Cake Cookie in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We originally found this whoopie pie-like cookie at The Writer’s Stop and, when it was converted into BaseLine Tap House, the cookie found its new home at The Trolley Car Cafe.
Now, this cakey cookie has a HUGE amount of cream cheese icing smacked in the middle of the two moist, sweet, and spicey “cookies” making it one that we prefer not to share. So, if you’re a fan of carrot cake and cookies then this one is a must-try. If that wasn’t enough to sell you on this treat, take a look at the price tag! This is one of the best snack bargains at Disney World for only $4.99

Salted Oatmeal Cornflake Cookie
For this next one we’re taking you to a cupcake shop — wait, what? Trust us. Sprinkles in Disney Springs may be known for their gourmet cupcakes and variety of unique flavors, but they also make one mean cookie! There are a few to choose from, but the one we keep coming back to time and time again is the Salted Oatmeal Cornflake Cookie. So, yeah, we’re going to a cupcake shop for a cookie that’s made of breakfast foods. We understand how weird that sounds — but trust us, we’d never steer you wrong!
It’s big, it’s flavorful, and it makes for a great treat while you’re making your way around the shopping district. Plus, you can level this guy up for $10 by making it an ice cream sandwich and pairing it with Sprinkles Captain Crunch Ice Cream. You can thank us later. 😉 Those cookie ice cream sandwiches are big enough to be a whole meal!

Caramel and Pretzel Cookie
And, if you’re spending the day in EPCOT, you don’t have to go without your cookie fix — head on over to Karamel Kuche in the Germany Pavilion! Here you’ll find the Caramel and Pretzel Cookie for $4.99, which is your basic chocolate chip cookie taken up a notch with salted pretzel and toffee bits inside and then drizzled with Werther’s Caramel. We’re getting a sugar rush just thinking about it!
We love the subtle little spark of saltiness from the pretzels in this unique twist on a classic. The great thing about this one is that it’s a pretty unique cookie that you’re only going to find at Disney World. Oh, and you’ll be getting a taste of the delicious caramel made fresh on-site that makes this cookie even more irresistible. They make a variety of caramel-topped cookies here and all of them are pretty great, honestly. The caramel is what sets this apart. Any excuse to eat this caramel — TAKE IT. And if you don’t want to break your stride as you tour around World Showcase, you can Mobile Order this cookie through the MyDisneyExperience App! Decadence on the go!

Caramel Apple Oatmeal Cookie
And we couldn’t choose just one cookie from Karamell Kuche in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT! You can also find the Caramel Apple Oatmeal Cookie, also for $4.99, which is an oatmeal apple cookie with some caramel drizzled on top. Yes, it may sound pretty basic but don’t let this one pass you by! This is a favorite, yet seasonal, cookie, so it’s not always in the bakery case — but check the Mobile Dining options or pop into Karamell Kuche the next time you’re in “Germany” to see if you can scoop one of these fall-flavored favorites!
The cookie itself is HUGE and with each bite, you get a rich buttery flavor from the soft cookie. Plus, even though the apples are dried, they add a lot of flavor to the cookie making it a challenge not to eat this one in one sitting. Even if you’re not big into fruit in your desserts, we think a lot of folks will love this one.

Mickey Mouse Cookie Sandwich
Alright, you’re going to have to bear with us on this next one because it will take some work, but it will be oh so worth it in the end!
We do our fair share of snacking in Disney World and every once in a while we decide to make our own creation — and that’s how we landed on the Mickey Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich With Peanut Butter Sauce (AKA the Mickey Mouse Cookie Sandwich. AKA the biggest, bestest ice cream sandwich EVA!). This one isn’t on the menu, and it only requires a few stops down Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom.
So, here’s how it’s done — stop by the Main Street Confectionery and get TWO Large Mickey Chocolate Chip Cookies. Then, head on over to the Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor and order two scoops of ice cream in a bowl. And, if you’re feeling wild (like us), order up a side of warm peanut butter, caramel, or chocolate sauce with your ice cream. Assemble all those ingredients into a cookie sandwich and voila! You’ve got yourself a giant, shareable, one-of-a-kind Disney treat!
With all the ingredients it can be a bit pricey to make your own dessert, but this is a great hack to keep in your back pocket for when you have leftover snack credits on your Disney Dining Plan.

Wookiee Cookie
Now, you probably know that we are all for a fun-themed cookie, and that’s exactly what the Wookiee Cookie is! (Some times you might see it spelled Wookie with one “e.” Legit Star Wars fans know it’s Wookiee though! 😉) This Star Wars-inspired treat is made with two chewy Oatmeal Cookies and vanilla cream filling with a milk chocolate sash and can be found for $6.29 at Backlot Express in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Though it looks a bit like a whoopie pie, it’s got a much more airy texture to it and is very chewy (see what we did there 😜). Your kiddos are sure to love this one (especially if they’re Star Wars fans) and the little bandolier sash is a cute touch. If you LOVED Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies as a kid, run to get this NOW.

Honorary Mention
Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookie
The last Disney World cookie that we have to talk about is Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookie! This not-so-little treat first showed up on the scene at Disney California Adventure and made the jump to the east coast and can be found at The Market at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This cookie is earning a badge of honor in this list because it isn’t necessarily the best chocolate chip cookie we’ve ever had, but it is GIANT, rich, thick, and served WARM giving it a nice gooey texture. So, if you’re a big fan of chocolate chip cookies, or are looking for something to share with the family. it’s worth giving a try! Plus, just saying the name is kinda fun! 🙂

Carol says
Just came back from our vacation at Disney. We brought back 11 cookies from Gideon’s (we ate 1). Weighed down the tote bag but we didn’t care.
Elizabeth West says
The num num cookies is the best. It’s a warmed cookie with melting , gooey chocolate chunks. The cookie is so tasty with the right ratio of cookie to chocolate chunks. It’s a bit messy to eat because the chocolate is melted but it is worth every chocolate fingerprint you either lick or leave behind.
Essie says
I’d be quite happy with just about any of the cookies shown, but my real dream come true would be unbridled freedom in the Caramel Kuche! 😊💕
