Hello from Walt Disney World!
We take a look at the average wait times every week to see if they’re getting longer or (hopefully) shorter overall, and we share all those details with you! Here’s a look at all the average wait times in Disney World this week.
Magic Kingdom
Starting in Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time this week with 54 minutes!
Next we had Splash Mountain at 46 minutes, Jungle Cruise at 44 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 37 minutes, Space Mountain at 34 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 32 minutes, and Astro Orbiter at 30 minutes.
In the 20s range, we had Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 26 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 21 minutes, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 20 minutes.
Rides with average wait times in the teens range including Haunted Mansion at 19 minutes, “its a small world” at 17 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 14 minutes, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 14 minutes, and Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 13 minutes.
After that we had Tomorrowland Speedway at 12 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 12 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 11 minutes, and Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 11 minutes.
Looking for rides with an average wait time of less than 10 minutes? This past week there were quite a few that fell into this category.
We had Mad Tea Party at 9 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 8 minutes, Liberty Square Riverboat at 8 minutes, Country Bear Jamboree at 7 minutes, Tom Sawyer Island at 5 minutes, Carousel of Progress at 5 minutes, Enchanted Tiki Room at 0 minutes, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse at 0 minutes.
EPCOT
Moving on to EPCOT, Test Track had the longest average wait time at 77 minutes!
After that, we had Frozen Ever After at 50 minutes, Soarin’ at 31 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 27 minutes, and Gran Fiesta Tour at 21 minutes.
Rides with even shorter wait times included Spaceship Earth at 18 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 15 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 13 minutes, and Living with the Land at 12 minutes.
The theater shows in EPCOT all had zero waits this past week! These included: American Adventure, Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!
Hollywood Studios
Over in Hollywood Studios, we saw Slinky Dog Dash had the highest average wait time this week at 77 minutes.
After that we had Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 49 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 44 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 43 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 39 minutes, and Tower of Terror at 33 minutes.
Following that was Alien Swirling Saucers at 26 minutes, Walt Disney Presents at 13 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D at 13 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 11 minutes, and Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 7 minutes.
Animal Kingdom
Last but not least, in Animal Kingdom, Avatar Flight of Passage had the longest average wait time at 80 minutes.
Following that was Na’vi River Journey at 39 minutes,Kilimanjaro Safaris at 38 minutes, and Kali River Rapids at 28 minutes.
Want to hop on Expedition Everest? Its average wait time this week was at 27 minutes.
Looking for rides with wait times under 25 minutes? This week we had DINOSAUR at 24 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 14 minutes, Triceratop Spin at 6 minutes, andGorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.
