The 2021 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has officially begun!

We’ve been checking out lots of fantastic food and drinks, keeping an eye out for fun entertainment, searching for Remy, and more. But now it’s time to stop by Earth Eats to try a brand new chili and a new drink that makes us feel like we’re celebrating Christmas? Let’s dive in!

Menu

Alright, let’s get into the food! Here’s a look at the full menu for Earth Eats.

Several items from last year’s Earth Eats booth are gone from the booth this year including the Chocolate Pudding Terrarium and some tea options. This year’s menu includes 1 returning item (the Impossible Burger Slider), a new food item, and 3 new drinks.

Food

First up, we’ll tackle the food. As we mentioned, this booth features the returning Impossible Burger Slider. The slider features Wasabi Cream and Spicy Slaw on a Sesame Seed Bun. This item is plant-based, so if you’re looking for plant-based items at the Festival, this could be a good choice.

In past years, we’ve thought this slider has been pretty good. It’s a solid choice for vegans and vegetarians. Our only criticism is typically that the meat is a little too salty. Just be sure to bring some water or grab a drink from the booth to help balance out the saltiness!

You can try it for $6.00.

NEW to the Earth Eats booth this year is the Impossible Three-Bean Chili. Last year, we saw an Impossible Farmhouse Meatball here, and the year before that there was an Impossible Cottage Pie. But now it’s time for something new!

The Three-Bean Chili is really good! If you’ve ever sat down to watch a football game with a bowl of chili in hand, then just picture that but with Impossible meat and in Disney World! We were very impressed with the flavor of the Impossible meat in here and just how easily it fools you into thinking it’s ground beef.

We LOVED the little bit of crème fraîche on top. We even asked for a little extra and they gave us some in a side bowl, which was fantastic. Putting the crème fraîche in this dish makes it extra creamy and delicious.

Note that the chili is not very spicy at all, so if you’re afraid of heat don’t let that deter you from grabbing this dish.

The corn chips on top add a nice crunch and the cheese gives it another layer of flavor. It’s very much your traditional, good ole chili with Impossible meat.

The Impossible Three-Bean Chili is gluten and wheat friendly and plant-based. If you want to try this dish, you can grab it for $5.50.

Drinks

Now, it’s onto the drinks. This year, Earth Eats features 3 NEW drinks. First, there’s the Spiced Apple Twinings of London Chai Tea. This tea is non-alcoholic and is priced at $4.50.

You can also get an alcoholic version of this drink, specifically the Spiced Apple Twinings of London Chai Tea with Whiskey. Today, we oped for the alcoholic version.

This drink was seriously delicious. It felt like we were celebrating Christmas in July with this drink and we didn’t mind one bit!! It’s got some great flavors from the spices (flavor, not heat) and you definitely get a taste of cinnamon. It was also really refreshing.

You can taste the whiskey, but it wasn’t overpowering. It’s a little taste of Christmas in July! We think this drink is something you could easily just get and sip throughout your day as you walk around the park.

You can grab this drink for $11.

Finally, if you’re looking for a wine option at Earth Eats, you can grab the NEW Stephen Vincent Pinot Noir, California for $6.

Overall, this booth is a good one to turn to if you’re looking for some plant-based items and a boozy tea that’ll have you feeling like it’s time to deck the halls.
