Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
Emporium
We’re mad for the Disney Parks, so the Cheshire Cat Hat on the shelves at the Emporium seems like a fitting outfit to add to our park wardrobe (and yours too!) for $27.99.
We were SO excited to see the Mickey Hand Soap appear in Disney World recently all the way from Tokyo Disneyland. While they sold out very fast, they are finally restocked at the Emporium…

If you want to keep your coffee hot during the morning or make sure your drinks don’t spill in the car, you’ll be head over heels for the new lidded mugs!
You can tote around the mouse with the most with the Mickey Lidded Mug…
…and the Donald Duck Lidded Mug for $19.99 each!
Also on the shelves, you an find a Disney Key Inspired Mug…
…with a key stirrer that comes with it, so you can mix up everything in your drink for $19.99!

Christmas Shoppe
There may not be anything new over at the Christmas Shoppe, but the merchandise has been moved around inside the store to be more organized…
…with designated sections for ornaments, figurines, and more!
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
Jungle Cruise
We can’t WAIT to see Jungle Cruise‘s refurbishment completed soon in the Disney Parks with new storylines, characters, and more!
As you make your way through the water, you can spot all sorts of animals with elephants…
…giraffes…
…lions…
..rhinos, and hyenas.
Some props have been removed Ginger Snap scene.
Here’s what it looked like before.
Cinderella Castle
Main Street, U.S.A. is about to get a HUGE change as the Partners Statue will be undergoing a refurbishment in time for Disney World’s 50th anniversary! The sign says that the statue will be going through routine care by removing oxidation buildup from patinated bronze. The process will proceed in multiple phases by stripping metal to its bare metal “before cleaning, reapplying a patina, and coating the entire figure in protective polymer and wax.”
TRON: Lightcycle Power Run
Each time we’re in the Magic Kingdom, we can’t help but take a sneak peek at the construction over at the TRON Lightcycle Power Run. Disney World is pushing forward with the progress in order to hopefully finish it in time for the 50th-anniversary celebrations.
Recently, some of the blue features that will make up the outer part of the structure have now been added as the beams, poles, and more continue to be set up for the indoor and outdoor attraction.

Ken says
The tron attractions is a sad story when it comes to Disney planning. To have the WDW railroad out of commission is inexcusable, they could have very easily built a tunnel for the train to run thru while the tron structure was build overhead. Another iconic ride taken out of your day while ticket prices continue to go up. Poor planning for a quick, easy and inexpensive fix to keep the train on the rails. Bad show Disney… you just do not seem to be focused on the guest experience.
