August is right around the corner, and it’s time once again to bring you up to speed on the latest park hours and Park Pass Reservation availability!
If you’re heading to Disney World next week, be sure to double-check those calendars to make sure you know exactly how much time you’ll have in each park. If you still have to book Park Reservations, now is the time to do so!
Disney World Park Hours the Week of August 1st
Magic Kingdom will be open daily next week from 8AM-10PM.
EPCOT will be open next week from 11AM-10PM on Sunday, August 1st as well as Friday, August 6th and Saturday, August 7th. From Monday, August 2nd through Thursday, August 5th, EPCOT will be open from 11AM-9PM. The EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival will be open each day at the same hours as the park.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open daily next week from 9AM-9PM. Keep in mind that on Sunday, August 1st, the nighttime fireworks spectacular Wonderful World of Animation will return!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open from 8AM-7PM daily next week with the one exception of Saturday, August 7th — the park will remain open one additional hour in the evening that day, from 8AM-8PM.
Disney World continues to limit Park Hopping to after 2PM each day, so plan accordingly if you have Park Hopper tickets!

Current Disney Park Pass Reservation Availability the Week of August 1st
Select Resort Hotels
On August 1st as well as August 5th through the 7th, guests staying at Select Resort Hotels can book a Park Pass Reservation at any of the four theme parks! As of this writing, guests staying at Select Resort Hotels can book a Park Pass for EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Monday, August 2nd.
On Tuesday, August 3rd and Wednesday, August 4th, guests staying at Select Resort Hotels can book a Park Pass Reservation at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Theme Park Tickets
As of this writing, guests with Theme Park Tickets also have a decent amount of Park Pass Reservation availability. for the week of August 1st. All four parks are currently available on Sunday, August 1st as well as Thursday, August 5th through Saturday, August 7th. On Monday, August 2nd, EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are available for guests with Theme Park Tickets.
For Tuesday, August 3rd and Wednesday, August 4th, guests with Theme Park Tickets can book a Park Pass Reservation at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Annual Passholders
Annual Passholders have NEARLY full Park Pass availability next week. Sunday, August 1st through Friday, August 6th is currently wide-open at all four theme parks. On Saturday, August 7th, Annual Passholders can book a Park Pass Reservation at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
More open availability like this tends to mean that crowds shouldn’t be too high. This makes sense as summer is coming to a close and many kids are returning to school.
Remember that Park Pass Reservation is always subject to change, and dates can fill up quickly! Be sure to book your reservations ASAP. If the park you wish to visit is currently full, you can always Hop to that park after 2PM if there is available capacity in that park and you have a Park Hopper ticket. Be sure to check back weekly ahead of your next Disney World vacation so you can stay up-to-date on the latest park hours and Park Pass Reservation information!
And remember, if you are traveling to Disney World next week, masks are now required in all indoor locations and on all attractions.
