We’ve gotten a lot of news recently about the new Star Wars-themed hotel opening next Spring in Disney World!
Now, there are even more updates as Disney has released details about pricing, rooms, and more experiences onboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser! Here’s a closer look at what kinds of hotel rooms will be available!
There will be more than 100 cabins and suites on the starcruiser, and each are promised to have Star Wars details that keep the immersive experience going even when guests are in their rooms! We’ve already seen a little peek at what some of the rooms will look like in the new Star Wars hotel.
There’s going to be bunk beds and windows with views of the galaxy far far away!
Now, we know even more about the rooms onboard. There will be three options for hotel rooms on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser — the Standard Cabin, the Galaxy Class Suite, and the Grand Captain Suite. Let’s see what each of them will look like!
Standard Cabin
The Standard Cabin room sleeps four to five adults, with one queen bed, two bunk beds (that fit one adult each) and a pull-down bed that also sleeps one adult. The cabin has a window with a view out to space as well!
Outside the window, you’ll be able to see planets, ships, and other views float past!
The Standard Cabin has a pull-out table and some chairs (which you can see towards the back of the room in the picture above) and a TV that will be showing normal channels. Disney has said that the TV has “entertainment from your home planet.”
Other amenities in the Standard Cabin include a mini-refrigerator, a hairdryer, an in-cabin safe, a phone with voicemail messaging, an interactive TV, and the H2O Plus toiletries you can find in most Disney hotels.
Galaxy Class Suite
The Galaxy Class Suites are one-bedroom suites with an “integrated seating area.” The rooms sleep four people with a queen bed and two pull-down beds that fit one adult each.
These suites have a double vanity bathroom, a bar area, and two windows with outer-space views!
Disney mentioned that this room has “a few extra Star Wars surprises,” which they haven’t revealed yet!
Galaxy Class Suites have the same amenities as the Standard Cabin, including a mini-refrigerator, a hairdryer, an in-cabin safe, a phone with voicemail messaging, an interactive TV, and H2O Plus toiletries.
Grand Captain Suite
The Grand Captain’s Suites are two-bedroom rooms with a “posh living space” that also has a seating area!
There is a double-vanity bathroom, a second bathroom that has a single vanity, a bar area, and three windows for viewing outer space! Disney also mentioned some extra Star Wars surprises in these suites!
The Grand Captain Suite sleeps eight people, with two queen beds, two bunk beds (one adult in each), and two pull-down beds (one adult in each).
You’ll find the same amenities here as well, such as a mini-refrigerator, a hairdryer, an in-cabin safe, a phone with voicemail messaging, an interactive TV, and H2O Plus toiletries.

Kinda difficult to figure, but a voyage about the 2 day excursion could accommodate 400 to 800 travelers. That is a pretty big group to accommodate for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I hope they can pull it off, but I fear that it will be like herding cattle at mealtime.
JLWil says
Do standard cabins have a private bathroom? It was unclear from the description?
Cynthia Palmieri says
Not in my lifetime…..
Susie Stone says
Who has this kind of money for this?
Leah says
Will the windows be able to switch to see the outside too? Wonder if it can get claustrophobic inside
BeanieZ says
I don’t even know what to say about the cost! Just wow! I feel like Disney is pricing most families out.
DFB Sarah says
Leah, as far as Disney has indicated, the windows — which are actually high-tech screens — will only show vistas of space.
DFB Sarah says
JLWil: All cabins and suites will have a bathroom.
Kate says
Given the requirement of two people and the COST, I will rethink the trip with my son and his wife. I had thought he could do the Experience and Daughter in law and I could “spa” out for two day, then do the parks when son was finished. His two days will cost pretty much what the entire 5 day trip that we’d take.
Who has that kind of money for a 3 day vacation?
Rick TR says
No one will stay at this hotel except the media and Bob Chapek. When Universal opens Nintendo Land Disney is going to be sorry for all their price gouging
Carolyn says
This is a 3 day 2 night immersive experience, is check in 3:45 pm 1st day and check out 11:am 3rd day????? is this actually a 1 day 2 night experience????
Cruz Rendon says
So far the room pricing is mentioned as a per person, with 2 people per room being the most expensive. What is the pricing for just one person per room going to be. Also is the pricing for each type of room (standard cabin, galaxy class suite, and grand captain suite) be priced differently per person?
DFB Sarah says
Cruz, I’m not sure we have those numbers yet. Disney only released the sample pricing, so we may have to wait until reservations are live (no date for that yet, though).
DFB Sarah says
Carolyn, one full day, yes.
