Although Disney World’s deluxe and moderate resorts generally get better reviews from guests, its value resorts aren’t anything to scoff at either. The whole point is value, and let’s face it — some of these resorts have the most fun theming on property.
From the All-Star Resorts to the fun decades theme of Disney’s Pop Century Resort to all the cool animation decor at Art of Animation, Disney World’s value resorts have a little something for everyone. But how do YOU, our DFB readers, rate the value resorts? Well, we asked you and you delivered! Here’s what you had to say:
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
When it comes to Art of Animation, we’ll agree that the theming here can’t be beaten. From The Little Mermaid Rooms to the Lion King Family Suites and the fun Cars Family Suites, this resort is just full of Disney icons from some of our favorite movies. And you agreed — nearly 84% of our readers give this resort a thumbs up.
Only 16% of our readers think this resort isn’t all that great.

Meanwhile, 37% of you are unimpressed by All-Star Movies.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort
When it comes to Pop Century, not as many of you were impressed with the resort. Instead of Disney characters, here’s where you’ll see a lot of fun icons from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. But some of you dig that — 63% of our readers think this hotel is groovy, man.
But 37% of you think this hotel is so totally not so awesome.

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
Finally, it seems you’re not into the All-Star Music Resort. Again, this one doesn’t really have a Disney theme, and we’re just wondering if that makes a big difference. Whatever the case, only 35% of our readers think this place is jazzy enough to stay there.
And a huge 65% think that All-Star Music is a tune not worth listening to.

Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
If there’s one value resort our readers have very little love for, it’s Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. Maybe it’s because the sports theme just isn’t as fun as those hotels with a more Disney theme. Or maybe it’s something else. However, only 25% of our readers think this resort is a touchdown.
The rest of you, a whopping 75%, believe this is a resort that you should pass on. Ouch.

Love Pop Century but last 3 trips stayed at All Star Sports. I choose the cheapest cause all we do is sleep and shower in the resort. Now seeing the prices I don’t see where the value is anymore.

I was so excited to stay on property with our family. It was still a pretty penny to stay at a “value” resort, but much less expensive than the rest. We stayed at Art of Animation and I was soooo disappointed! We stayed in the Finding Nemo suites. When we walked in it smelled bad, that sour, carpets haven’t been cleaned in forever, kind of smell. There were stains on the carpets everywhere! There was garbage in the halls. I was about ready to march to the front desk and demand our money back, but the room wasn’t bad. It wasn’t carpeted, so that helped. The other downside was bussing. They treat the guests who stay at the value resorts like second class citizens. We’d wait for a bus with a huge group of guests and watch several come and go for just a handful of guests at the pricier resorts. Our bus stops were always the furthest away and had the fewest busses serving them. I’ll pay less for 10x the service at an off property resort next time.

We just returned from staying at All Star Movies. My main complaint was I was promised housekeeping everyday from the manager. We stayed for eight nights and the room was only cleaned twice. Housekeeping has to be everyday.
