Ever since Disney Springs first reopened, we’ve seen quite a few restaurants, resorts, and attractions follow after.
There are still quite a few things that are closed, including the NBA Experience in Disney Springs. But now, it looks like that particular offering may not be reopening at all!
According to Orlando Sentinal, the NBA Experience will not reopen and is now permanently closed. According to their source, Disney Springs workers were told Monday via email that the location would not be reopening. This relatively new activity center opened in August of 2019 and was available for less than a year before the shutdown in March 2020.
There is currently no word on what could replace this experience — the building is located on the West Side of Disney Springs and has quite a bit of space to offer. We’ll make sure to share if Disney World gives any official updates or announcements.

Wow. They demolished Disney Quest to make way for this. Sooo… any chance all those Disney Quest video games and experiences are just sitting in some warehouse? Waiting to reclaim their home? 🙂 I could totally go for some retro late-90’s fun.
