When the Monorail resumed operations in Disney World last summer, it was running limited service with some trains, stations, and loops not available right away.
Since then, we’ve seen more Monorails return to service, as well as the reopening of the EPCOT Monorail loop. And with construction making good progress at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort’s Monorail station, we’re closer than ever to the Disney World Monorail service being back 100%.
Today, we were able to hop on another Monorail that recently returned to service: Monorail Gold!
Monorail Gold has the same new sleek design we’ve seen being added to the other trains in the fleet, including Orange, Peach, and Silver.
The vibrant gold hues can be spotted inside and outside of the Monorail cars. The Disney World logo decorates the interior, with “Monorail Gold” prominently featured above the seating area.
It certainly gives off very “regal” vibes with its brilliant gold coloring!
