Love spending a little extra time in the Disney World theme parks at night? Well, if you’re staying at a Disney World Deluxe Resort, a Deluxe Villa, or other select hotels, you could get the chance to do just that with Disney’s new hotel perk — Extended Evening Hours.
Extended Evening Hours, which will begin in October, allows guests at Disney World Deluxe Resorts, Deluxe Villa Resorts, or other select hotels to stay in select parks on certain nights for an extended period of time. So far we’ve shared a look at some of the dates that have been announced for this special perk, but now Disney has released the list of rides that will be open during these special evening hours!
At this time, Disney has announced a number of dates for the Extended Theme Park hours perk, but all of these extended hours are currently set to take place at either EPCOT or Magic Kingdom.
What will be open during these Extended Evening Hours? Well, Disney has announced that guests who are in the designated park during these extended nighttime hours will be able to access select merchandise and food and beverage locations.
Additionally, a number of attractions are set to be open. Here’s the FULL list of attractions currently planned to be open in Magic Kingdom during these extended hours.
And here’s a full list of the attractions set to be open in EPCOT during these extended evening hours.
EDITOR’S UPDATE, 2/18/22: Disney’s Hollywood Studios will host its first (and potentially only, according to the Walt Disney World website) Extended Evening Hours on April 13, 2022. Here’s a full list of the attractions set to be open in Hollywood Studios during these extended evening hours.
Keep in mind that these are the attractions that are currently planned to be open, but the list of attractions is subject to change and the attractions may not always be operational. We’ll keep an eye out for any more updates on that.
Not staying at a hotel that qualifies for Extended Evening Hours? Well, if you’re staying at any Disney World Hotel (not just the Deluxe Hotels), or select other hotels, you’ll be able to enter any of Disney World’s theme parks 30 minutes EARLY every single day starting in October with the new Early Theme Park Entry offering!

K. Sullivan says
This extra evening hours thing is far more annoying than Genie +. The biggest issue with Genie+ is the application, being on your phone all day etc. At least the cost is the same no matter which hotel you stay in. Extra magic hours used to be for all resorts. Now it isn’t.
Mark says
Most rediculous thing !
As if going to Disney is not expensive enough, now if you do not spend even more $ , you are not included in extra hours.
Barbara says
I wonder if “the rest of us” will still be. Be able to get in line right up until closing?
DFB Sarah says
Barbara, I would expect guests could still get in line up to the last minute before Park closing, but if we hear differently, we will report.
Lisa says
What about AK and HS ? Are they slated to have late extra hours?
Diane Levendakes says
I know I probably will get a lot of backlash for this comment, but I think there should be some extra perks for people who stay at Deluxe Resorts. They pay more, so why not give them something extra! Many of these people work hard for their money, not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth. Are a few extra hours going to ruin your vacation? I know it won’t ruin mine! I’m just happy I get to go to WDW. I do not get the perk of being able to make ADR’s for my length of stay. I will have to go on MDE every morning once my window opens. Do I like that? No, but that’s the way it is. As for Genie, it’s FREE. Will I pay for Genie+? I’m not sure until I see that it works. It’s a good thing that you don’t have to decide until you get there. Paying for RotR SDMT and Ratatouille? Again not sure. Let’s see how expensive it will be. My husband is 100% Disabled/Service related. WE will be using the DAS pass, as we have in the past. WDW is what you make it.
DFB Sarah says
Lisa, so far we haven’t seen hours for those Parks, but it’s possible they could be added. If they are, we will report.
