The start of Disney World’s 18-month-long 50th Anniversary celebration is just a few weeks away!
Nothing Quite Like Getting Those Perfect Castle Views
When the 50th Anniversary fun begins, you’ll be able to catch new fireworks in EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, grab specially themed merchandise, hop on the new Ratatouille-themed attraction, and MORE. Now, Disney has made a special 50th Anniversary item available, but only select guests can grab it!

While Disney World Resort hotel guests and Annual Passholders no longer get free MagicBands, they can often order select MagicBands at an exclusive discount. Right now, both Disney World Resort Hotel guests and Annual Passholders can snag a 50th Anniversary MagicBand at a discount!
The MagicBand features Tinker Bell, Figment, Mr. Toad, and more on one side, on top of a blue background with lots of stars all around.

On the other side, you’ll find more Disney characters like Dumbo and Orange Bird, as well as a special 50th Anniversary sliding piece.

The special pre-order price for this MagicBand is $30. If you’ve got an upcoming stay at a Disney World hotel or are an Annual Passholder, be sure to check and see if you can grab this MagicBand at its pre-order price.

Abi, if it shows as an option for you in My Disney Experience, you should be able to purchase unless Disney has imposed some restriction on out-of-country shipping. Unfortunately I just tried to log in to see it, and the site is down for me, so I can’t double check on this.

We are headed to Disney in 33 days, but I don’t see the 50th magic band as an option :(.
I just tried to see if we qualify. We have a trip planned for next June and we are AP holders. I looked under the magic bands ordering and this band isn’t listed there. Is that the only place you’d find it? I wonder if I need to call someone.
Melissa, I also can’t see it when I log into My Disney Experience and check on a future trip. I’m not sure why this is. I’ll look into it. Update: Melissa, we think they’re sold out already. Hopefully they’ll return at some point.

I have 61 days until WDW Resort trip and been looking for the 50th anniversary Magic Band for the trip, I found some on ebay.com up to $50.00 + shipping unlinked to my experiance app.. thinking about it..
How does DFB go about sending out their newsletters to everyone? Some people already posted comments over 24 hours before I even received mine. Once again, Disney makes something available in such limited quantities that it sells out immediately and leaves a lot of people frustrated. They are very good at that these days.
I checked yesterday at 4pm and it was available!! I decided to wait to order everyone’s band this morning and they said it’s sold out. There’s a possibility that it might restock. The cast member said keep checking.
It’s now available again! Been checking all day and finally just ordered it.

Can you provide me with any information on the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure location. I have not been to Disney World for 5 years and loved to go to the French area for breakfast. We would get the ham baguettes and hope that venue is still available for our visit later this year.

We ordered ours this morning and they were available. Thanks for sharing this info or else we would never have been able to get them. They don’t ship out of the US so they’ll be waiting for us at the hotel when we check in.

Hi, Sam. Nothing has been removed to make way for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure or Le Creperie de Paris. When facing the pavilion, a small expansion has been added around the righthand side of the pavilion. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is still there for you to get your baguettes!
Ahh already sold out again! Anyone know of a way to get notified when they go in stock?
Where do you find them on sale when they are available? I looked under ‘order magicbands’ for my upcoming November trip (Florida AP holder) and don’t see anything. Is that the right place to look and they don’t show up because they’re sold out or am I looking in the wrong place?
Tara, if you’re logged into My Disney Experience and clicking My MagicBands and Cards, I believe you’re in the right place. I know these MagicBands appeared to be sold out the other day, but a couple of readers said they were able to order them in the evening. So I’m not sure exactly what’s going on — if they’re sold out or if they’re just not showing for some people. I, myself, have tried logging in a few times to look for it and haven’t seen it either. I would suggest you check when you think of it, and hopefully you’ll catch it at the right time (that is, if they’re, indeed, available). Sorry I can’t be more helpful!
I just checked. They are available right now again. Go into My Plans on the app or to My Disney Experience on the website and select Magicbands and order them.
You just have to keep checking as of 9/4 8:30pm they are back in stock just ordered 2 👍😀

They’re back in stock! I just ordered them for my husband & myself. Our trip isn’t until January, and honestly I wasn’t planning to order more magic bands – we were just going to use bands we already have – but these are just too adorable!!!
