You also have to pay for daily parking at your home airport, kennel costs, etc. too
Ron says
I just listened to your video on hidden costs. THANK YOU. In past years we paid 12.5 percent tax on the room. Does this cover all taxes or is the $35 a day that you spoke about in the video an additional tax from the county and the state? Thanks
DFB Sarah says
Ron, the $35 is an example based on a hypothetical stay at Art of Animation, and that number is, I believe, a combination of the Orange County Accommodation Tax, Orange County Tourist Development Tax, and Florida State Accommodation Tax.
Jenn says
We are renting a car, do we have to pay for parking at both the Hotel and each park?
DFB Sarah says
Jenn, if you stay onsite, you’ll pay to park at your Resort, but your theme park parking will be free/complimentary.
Ken says
You can beat the parking by parking at Disney Springs, taking a bus to any hotel, then take the bus to the Park and viola, no parking fee… or you can walk over the Saratoga Springs and then take the bus to the parks from the hotel and a Disney bus.
