Planning to drop by Disney’s Hollywood Studios and wondering where you might want to stop to grab a snack or full meal?
There are a few restaurants with tasty options in this park, but one particular fan-favorite is The Hollywood Brown Derby. What if you want to grab some of the delicious menu items from the Brown Derby (including that famous Cobb Salad) without a reservation and without the full indoor dining experience? There’s one spot that has fully reopened in Hollywood Studios that gives you the opportunity to do just that!
The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is an outdoor lounge located just next to the Brown Derby restaurant in Hollywood Studios. The Lounge is typically a great spot to sit down under an umbrella, grab a drink and a few tasty snacks (including a Cobb Salad), and relax.
The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge has been open in a limited capacity for quite some time now, but it had only been serving up a variety of drinks for guests to enjoy. Now, things have changed!
When we passed by the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge today we saw that it has now fully reopened and is once again serving up some tasty treats (in addition to a variety of drinks)!
The menu includes a variety of food options including the Cobb Salad, a Charcuterie Board, and a Shrimp Cocktail, among other things.
There are also specialty flights, scotch & bourbon options, non-alcoholic drinks…
…ales and beers, and more.
The Lounge doesn’t accept reservations. Instead, seating here is available on a walk-up basis. You may be able to join the Walk-Up Waitlist virtually if there is availability, so be sure to check on your My Disney Experience app.
There are a variety of seating options available in this space, but the tables are relatively small so if you’re traveling with a larger group that’s something to keep in mind.
The next time you’re in Hollywood Studios and looking for a spot to take in the sights and sounds while enjoying a drink and snack, you can stop by the Brown Derby Lounge to see if there are any spots available.

$47 for a Cobb salad with chicken????? People actually pay for that??? I got it once, many years ago, EH, and never went back. Totally not worth it, imo.
Ken says
Not much to nosh on if you are not a drinker…
Eric Erickson says
I think Lynne got the wrong impression — I’m almost positive that the Cobb Salad with Chicken is $27 total, & NOT in addition to the $20 for the “base” Cobb Salad. Still, that price is more than it previously was, & it appears that it MUST be the same size as the Entree Cobb that you get inside, whereas before it was a smaller version.

One thing of note here is that it appears that you can no longer get any of the desserts at the Outdoor Lounge, which was one of my favorite things — Cobb Salad with a Bloody Mary, followed by the Dessert Trio & Coffee with another Bloody Mary.

Thanks, Eric. I’ve shared this with the reporting team.

Another must do for us. What a real place for relaxing, good bite to eat….and to people watch.
Essie says
No desserts? I’d like to go there just to try the grapefruit cake….
