It’s almost Disney World’s 50th anniversary!
The 18-month long celebration kicks off on October 1st with new entertainment, experiences, and MORE! One of the most anticipated things coming to Disney World is the new nighttime spectacular, Disney Enchantment. That means that Happily Ever After (the current fireworks show at Magic Kingdom) is going away soon, and guests trying to see the show tonight might have to wait a bit!
We were hanging out at Magic Kingdom when we heard an overhead announcement that Happily Ever After was being delayed tonight. Plenty of guests were still crowded around the castle to watch the show before it goes away later this month!

The announcement did not say how long the show would be delayed, but it did mention that it was due to inclement weather.
Sometimes firework shows get cancelled if the weather does not seem to be improving, but Disney has only announced a delay so far. We’ll continue to update you on the latest from the Disney parks, so stay tuned!
