It’s been quite a while since we’ve been able to step foot in the Main Street Confectionery!
The Confectionery is opening soon!
After construction on this spot was pushed back again and again, The Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom is reopening on September 29th! This sweet shop is known for its delicious candy, caramel apples, and Rice Krispie treats. Recently, Disney gave us a first look at the revamped sweet shop and the new additions to this classic Magic Kingdom spot!
One of the new additions to the shop is a wall of M&M’s and Skittles for making custom bags of candy! There will be 38 flavors of M&M’s and Skittles available, so there’s sure to be something for everyone.

You can now also customize your popcorn by mixing and matching four flavors (caramel, rainbow fruit, butter, and cheddar) and adding toppings like M&M’s, Skittles, and chocolate drizzle.

The newly revamped Confectionery will also feature 30 new treats, including new Rice Krispie treats, candy apples, and fudge!

Any word on jelly bellies?
They need to get on the ball and get the Mickey head cake pops back ASAP. There is way too many cardboard flavored rice crispy concoctions taking up space lol.
Really wish WDW would import some of the Tokyo popcorn flavors. Honey and Garlic Shrimp are still discussed in our house two years later.
38 flavors of M&Ms exist?
Do you know if they will start doing the giant Mickey Rice Krispie again? They are my favorite!!
Any word on Disney Meal Plans coming back?
Marion, Disney has said Disney Dining Plans will return, however they have not provided a date for that to happen.
