Ever since Disney World reopened, guests have been required to book Park Pass Reservations for the park they wish to visit.
Although availability is changing all of the time, changing a Park Pass Reservation can be a total pain! When you want to change your Park Pass to a different park, you have to cancel your reservation and then make a new one — this leaves the risk of not having a reservation at all for busy days. But now, we wanted to point out that Disney World recently made a change to the way you modify Park Passes!
We were looking at one of our upcoming Park Reservations on the Disney World website and noticed that there was a new option that says “Modify Reservation!” Previously, it only said “Cancel Reservation.”
We clicked on it, selected whose reservation we wanted to alter…
…selected the date we wanted to use our reservation on…
…selected the park we wanted…
…and confirmed our modification! It was as easy as that!
Although this feature makes it SO much easier to modify park reservations, we noticed that it was only available for certain days. We’ll continue to monitor it, but now you know what to do if you see this option in your My Disney Experience account!
With this feature, you can change the date or park you want to use your Park Reservation on or both, making planning much easier at Disney World. We’re always keeping up with the latest Disney news and more! Stay tuned here for more!

Kewl! I think (hope) we’ll see lots of added functionality over the next few months as WDW continues to roll out improvements to both the website and the app.

Thanks for the update! I was so nervous changing my Park Reservations a few weeks back because I was worried we would be out of luck if the parks filled up.
This will calm my anxiety over switching parks.

Hi thanks for the article.. however I’m trying to modify our park reservations (switch parks) but I don’t see on the website where to do what you’ve shown in this article.. Once I’m signed in on the website what’s my first step to modify a reservation?
DFB Sarah says
Hoku, I no longer see a “Modify” option, so perhaps it’s been removed. I’ll double check with the team.

My mom and I are planning on going to Walt Disney World and we need to switch dates for the parks we chose, I cannot find the modify button on the website, were you able to check with the team on why it’s no longer there?
DFB Gigi says
Hi Jamie! I just went online to create a fake reservation and the modify button was still there when I went back to change it. Try going here: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/entry-reservation/modify/select-party/
