While Disney World is off celebrating its 50th Anniversary, there’s still a lot of new stuff to see and do over at the Disneyland Resort!
Let’s recap what’s currently going on around Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney! Between all of the fall and Halloween activities, food, and merchandise, there’s hardly ever a dull moment!
Disneyland Resort General Updates
New to Disneyland is a Muppets Haunted Mansion display at the Disney Gallery on Main Street, U.S.A.! The Muppets and Haunted Mansion crossover event premiered on Disney+ on Friday, October 8th!
More live entertainment has returned to Disneyland, with piano players resuming regular performances at Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland.
It’s great to see more live entertainment coming back to the Disney parks! Speaking of entertainment, we noticed some maintenance happening over at Disney California Adventure on the fountain system used in World of Color. Currently, the water in the lagoon is completely drained as work is being done on the fountains.
As of this writing, Disney has not announced a date when the nighttime spectacular will return. We’ll be keeping a close watch on the work happening in California Adventure!

Disneyland Resort Food Updates
GCH Craftsman Grill
Each month, GCH Craftsman Grill at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa releases a hot dog of the month. This month, however, they decided to switch things up a bit by releasing the Trick or Treat Dog! Turns out that this was a trick and a treat — the “hot dog” of the month was a Churro!
This spooky treat is a classic churro that is wrapped up in a crisp shell and “mummified” with marshmallow goodness. The churro hot dog is then served with bacon bits and strawberry sauce. There’s a LOT going on here, but it’s certainly a fun twist for Halloween for $12!

Pooh Corner
We also spotted a new treat inspired by Haunted Mansion Holiday — a Nightmare Before Christmas Wreath Krispie!
We found this treat at Pooh Corner, the candy shop in Critter Country closest to Haunted Mansion Holiday!

Disneyland Resort Merchandise Updates
The Mad Hatter
New Minnie Ears have debuted at Disneyland, and we can’t help but feel like they’re sort of…couch colored, if that makes sense? Take a look:
They’re available for $29.99 around the Disneyland Resort; we spotted them at The Mad Hatter!

Disney Showcase
If you’re into collecting nuiMOs, then you’ll be happy to know that the new Jack Skellington and Sally plush are available in Disneyland at Disney Showcase!
Aren’t they adorable? You can dress them up in a wide array of outfits, also available for sale around the Disneyland Resort for $21.99 each!
Fiddler Fifer and Practical Cafe
We also recently spotted the new Starbucks tumblers at Fiddler Fifer and Practical Cafe in Disney California Adventure! Not many items sell out like a Starbucks tumbler can, and these have been flying off of the shelves! There was this plastic tumbler…
…this stainless steel tumbler…
…as well as this gorgeous iridescent tumbler, similar to the 50th Anniversary tumblers spotted in Disney World!
If you want to collect these tumblers, we suggest purchasing one as soon as you spot it — you never know when they’ll be in or out of stock!

Outdoor Popcorn Carts
Finally, around Disney California Adventure, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for this Oogie Boogie Halloween popcorn bucket!
You could find the popcorn bucket at the outdoor popcorn vending carts for $11!

Knick Knack’s
If you head over to Knick Knack’s in Pixar Pier, you may be surprised to come across a merchandise collection direct from…EPCOT?!
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure officially opened in World Showcase last week, and it looks like Disneyland is getting in on the merchandise action!
You can spot a wide array of products available for purchase in California Adventure!

That’ll do it for our latest roundup on what’s new at the Disneyland Resort! Just like Disney World, the Halloween festivities are in full swing, with Oogie Boogie Bash taking place on select nights through October 31st! Then, all eyes will be on the holiday season as we prepare to check out the NEW after-hours event taking place at Disneyland, Merriest Nites! There’s a lot of excitement around the Disneyland Resort these days, so don’t miss out on the latest updates!
