We’ve tried so many delicious eats and treats for Disney World’s 50th anniversary!
There was a burger that looked like a toad, a hot dog topped with funnel cake, and even an ENTIRE pyramid made out of chocolate! But, even with all of festive food we’ve had, there is STILL more to try — can you believe it?! Come with us as we taste two new sweet treats in Magic Kingdom!
Over at Cheshire Cafe in Fantasyland, there are two new slushies for the 5oth! Here’s the thing though — we get it. Alice in Wonderland…Mad Tea Party…tea…we get it. But a tea-centric drink in Disney World? Unless it’s a sweet tea slush (and even then!), it’s not necessarily universally appealing. Many kids likely scrunch up their face at the idea of tea.
The first is the All Mixed Up, which is a strawberry tea slushy topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.
This drink reminded us of a strawberry Slurpee you can get from 7-Eleven! That’s not necessarily bad, but we don’t think that’s what Disney was going for here. There was a tiny hint of the tea flavor, but not a lot, and we honestly wish there would’ve been more. If you hadn’t told us we’d think it was just another strawberry slush.
This slushy is pretty sweet, but it did still have a good balance. If you like strawberries, you’ll LOVE this because it’s jam-packed with that lollipop-like strawberry flavor!
So, it mainly just tasted like a strawberry slushy and wasn’t anything special. We’re not sure if it’s worth the $5.99 it costs! (Especially considering you could likely Big Gulp something close to this bad boy at your corner store for like a buck or two!) Here’s a closer look:

The other new slushy here is the Not-Too-Late Tea. This is a wild berry white tea topped with whipped cream and a white chocolate clock.
First things first — why no clock on the other one?! The wild berry flavor is very strong in this drink! Like the strawberry one, we wish there was a little more tea flavor that came through, but you could still taste it. The color was a…well…appetizing (?) shade of peach? Brown? Beige? It’s not the most “YUM WILDBERRY!” color to us! If you wanna argue it’s due to the tea, we can, but again, we barely could taste it.
Out of the two slushies, we enjoyed this one more! It was slightly less sweet. However, the whole tea theme here was lost on both of these drinks. It was a cute idea for Alice in Wonderland inspired treats, but for being advertised as frozen teas, they did not deliver on the tea part.

But, the whipped cream on both of the drinks was super fresh and fluffy, which was great! If you want to try either of these, just don’t expect it to be a tea-forward slushy, the tea flavor is very subtle. For kids, that’s likely a welcome thing. But definitely worth noting. You can get them both for $5.99 over at Cheshire Cafe. Stay tuned to DFB as we taste and review more food for the 50th anniversary!
