There’s a new film coming soon to Disney+ and Disney history buffs are going to be all for it.
Adventure Thru the Walt Disney Archives was previously shown only to D23 Gold Members, but soon it will be streaming for all Disney+ subscribers! If you’d love to take a look at the typically off-limits Walt Disney Archives, this is your chance.
On November 19th, Adventure Thru the Walt Disney Archives will begin streaming on Disney+! This film explores the history of Disney theme parks and Studio lot through host Don Hahn, who worked on Disney films such as Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Maleficent. The Walt Disney Archives team, including Director Becky Cline, take a look at archives that have helped shape the Walt Disney Company.
You will also see interviews with Star Wars‘ Mark Hamill, film historian Leonard Malton, Pixar’s Pete Docter, Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige, and Disney Executive Chairman Bob Iger.
